Review of Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship.

Placements: Placements and job opportunities are too good. Companies like FedEx Express, Vodafone India, State Street Syntel Services, eClerx Services Limited, place India, the Marketing Code, etc are coming to our campus to hire candidates from various specializations. Our students are offered up to 4 lacs per annum. I did my internship at TVS and Logistics Services Limited. I did the HR work there. I learned everything related to human resources which includes recruitment.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are not available in my college because my college is in a prime location. They do not have sufficient space for a hostel. The mess food is also not available but there are 2 canteens for boys and girls.

Faculty: Faculty members are awesome. They teach us in different ways with live examples and different types of activities. During exam time it was very hard to spend a single day because the exam structure and seating arrangement got changed for every exam. In one room there were 3 teachers who were assigned to take care and it was too dangerous to speak in the exam hall. The course curriculum is a bit outdated but professors bring lots of new topics for discussion. Pedagogy is also a bit outdated considering the fact that lots of other MBA institutes have innovative styles of teaching. Some of the courses were offered on specific campuses hence creating a lot of convenience for students to travel to different campuses.

Review of Poona Institute of Management Sciences and Entrepreneurship.

Placements: 80-90% of students from my batch were placed in various companies. The highest package was 12.5 Lacs, and the average package for mechanical placement is 7.5-8 Lacs per annum. Yes, students get internships also in various multinational companies. It has a very good PPO after the completion of the internship.

Infrastructure: Facilities available for my course include Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, and labs. The quality of the food is not as good compared to other colleges, but the medical facility is nice. We also have sports and games facilities, with monthly and weekly tournaments for students who want to play.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well qualified, like Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is good, and the course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are more difficult than those at other colleges, but they help in building students. The passing CGPA is above 9.
