The College offers a full-time BTech programme in six different specialisations. The total seat intake of BTech programme is 660 students. The programme is offered under semester pattern, and candidates need to secure minimum credits to pass a particular semester. BTech (CE) will cover the in-depth study of subjects like Physics, Mathematics, Geology and Hydrology, whereas, BTech (EE) course deals with the subjects related to Electrical Engineering. It includes Circuit Analysis, Electromagnetic Machines & Drive System, Power System, Control System, Power Electronics, Application etc. Admission to BTech programme is entrance-based. The final selection of students is based on the marks secured in JEE/REAP exams.

The Poornima Group of Colleges (PGC) includes Poornima College of Engineering. It was started in Jaipur in 2000. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has granted it accreditation, and it is connected with Rajasthan Technical University. Out of 116 ITS Colleges, it was ranked number two by RTU in 2020.

Civil Engineering (CE), Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), and Information Technology (IT) are the six engineering specialisations offered by the college as part of their BTech degree. In addition, it provides Value Added Programmes in association with IBM. These courses are available under a number of developing technologies, including cloud computing, mobile computing, analytics, and cybersecurity.

One of the three cluster colleges created by Shanti Education Society is Poornima College of Engineering (PCE). Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is associated with the college, which was founded in 2000. Admissions are available for both B.Tech. and M.Tech. programmes. Both entrance exams and merit-based admissions are used. Both B.Tech. and M.Tech. admissions need students to submit counselling applications. For B.Tech admissions, candidates must have received a 10+2 in the Science stream. In order to qualify for admission, they must also pass the JEE Main exam. Selections are made in accordance with REAP counseling's recommendation.

The Poornima College of Engineering offers good placements to BTech graduates. During the placement drive 2025, the highest package offered was INR 10 LPA. For a full-time BTech course, the student needs to pass Class 12 with a 45% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects for Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Physics, and Chemistry and Mathematics for Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering. The eligibility criteria for BTech Lateral Entry is a passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate in case of applicants belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are drained.

Admission to BTech programme is entrance-based. The eligibility criteria to get admission is minimum 45% in Class 12 with relevant subjects and a valid score in JEE Main entrance examination. Interested candidates can apply online on the official website of the college. 

Admission through REAP will be in two ways firstly, JEE Main and Class 12 marks. Counselling of REAP will be conducted in three rounds and a special round. The Reap rounds are discussed below:

• The registration will commence in the starting of first round of counselling and candidates will be able to attend all three rounds.
• The candidates who wish to take admission through REAP must fill the application form.
• The last date of payment of application fees and submission of application form will be in the last week of June.
