In the year 2016, approximately, 60% of the students got placed.
Placements: Yearly once, the college management calls companies from different sectors like BPO, KPO, IT, startups for on-campus drives. 30% of the students got selected. We recommended the college to conduct placements frequently. So, students can be familiar with interviews.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is good. The Wi-Fi facility is restricted in our college. Hostels are good in accommodation, but food seems to be not bad. We have a playground, gym, multiple labs and RD labs. There is a newly opened mechatronics lab for research purpose.
Faculty: In my course curriculum, faculty members are quite good at handling students and teaching. Management is also good. They helped me a lot with my studies. In my department, there are 7 faculty members for 54 students. We got industry exposure as well, and it is most useful in our curriculum.

Dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: Don't expect placements. The college will try their best but most of the MNC companies are looking only for the top-rated institutions so getting on campus placement is really tough. Some of the companies within the Coimbatore may show interest but getting placed is not an easy thing.
Infrastructure: Pretty decent infrastructure. Free Wi-Fi is available for students but doesn't expect that all the time. The library is good, and the basic medical facilities are available. Decent labs, ground and good classroom facilities will be there. Some people will not be satisfied with their hostel food, but it is usual in most of the colleges.
Faculty: The mixture of some highly talented faculty and some average faculty are available. Mostly blackboard and PPT teaching methods were used. There are little practical sessions. The curriculum may be useful for some people's, but our education system is not up to the mark, so there is no point to blame the college.
Other: The college is in the good location since it is located in the national highway transportation facility is not a problem. Not a strict engineering college when you compared to others. Fewer admissions due to the heavy competition and lack of placement. Some departments were already closed and hope the college will bounce back soon.

In 2016, satisfied because of care and support of faculty, good infrastructure and management.
Placements: In 2016, more than 5 companies came for placements. It is purely in IT companies and BPO companies.
In my college, they offered us to go for an off-campus drive wherever held in Tamil Nadu.
Placements are overall good for circuit branches but non-circuit branches have very rare placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good because all departments have separate building blocks along with the lab rooms. Overall, the college and hostel are connected by Wi-Fi. We can access it anytime and anywhere. The hostel food quality is good and the hostel rooms are good and clean.
Faculty: In my CSE department, most of the faculty members are quite good in teaching and encourage the students well. They will conduct special coaching classes for the weak students in their studies especially mathematics. In my class, the total number of students is 53 with 8 faculty members. In my college, they are arranging a scholarship for poor students and I hope this will help the other students as well.

PPG Institute of Technology review.
Placements: The placements were good, but most of the companies that came for the campus drive were just looking for tech support and most students were placed in CTS and HCL.
Most of them were placed in a tech support company and they are trying very hard to bring big time companies for recruitment of students.
Infrastructure: Great infrastructure and great equipment in the laboratory and a good environment to learn. Each department has its own block and the library is well furnished with a lot of books for engineering and other books. It's located near several tech parks in Coimbatore so that there is an exposure to the industry and in knowing how the industry works in real-time.
Faculty: Well educated and experienced faculty. The quality of the education is great. The faculty members of each department are well trained in their core and can help you to get a higher standard of education. The syllabus is Anna University based and they have a good syllabus with a keen interest to give students a betterment in engineering.
