My honest review of my college.

Placements: Placements were not good at that time, only 5% got placed. Companies like L&T, Infosys, and Wipro came to campus. The offer was just 15-20k per month. Placements were available for both UG and PG. The placement process for UG started in the 3rd year, after 5 semesters, through a training program. After completing the training program, the placements will begin. PG is in its final year, and placements are ongoing.

Infrastructure: There were different types of hostels. Facilities for improvement in those hostels, including a single cot, bathrooms, and cupboards, are a must. There were common bathrooms there. A comfortable hostel with all facilities available, providing separate accommodation for boys and girls. An exclusive hostel is available for international students. The hostel has an exclusive library for inmates, and internet facilities are available. The food dining hall and kitchen offer a home-food type experience. The college focuses on the continual development of infrastructural facilities.

Faculty: Since the course was just introduced that year, its syllabus resembled a B.Com CA course. I heard that it has been revised after 2 years. I like this course because it is very useful for my future career. The course was very innovative, and critical thinking ability is a must for generating new ideas. The course addressed drug development and the process of designing drug development. The faculty should interact with students to guide them effectively. The relationship for communication is excellent. My department faculty members were good, and they were very knowledgeable people.

Overall, best college for M.Sc. in statistics course.

Placements: Nearly 75% of the pupils were assigned. 7 LPA was the lowest package while 27 LPA was the highest salary. Among the leading recruitment firms were Pfizer, Sanofi, Anantics, and others. Approximately 70% of students obtained internships. Statistical analyst, biostatistician, and other positions were available.

Infrastructure: Compared to every other college, my college was the best. Classrooms were always clean and tidy. Many knowledgeable books were also provided by great authors in our library. Our own textbooks were also convenient in our college library. We also had a kitchen with fresh snacks and water. Every Saturday, there were performances. There was a separate room/hall for tennis, carrom, and more.

Faculty: You could get any questions, you had regarding the course answered by the excellent professors thus far. M.Sc. in mathematics curriculum may had been improved. The examination course was a little disorganized. The course material was suitable. 60% of students passed the semester exams, which were comparatively difficult.

My honest review about my college.

Placements: When it comes to placements I would proudly say PSGCAS ranks best among the arts and Science colleges in Coimbatore. I got placed in Cognizant after MCA and the package was lucrative with 3.5 LPA plus incentives. IBM, Bosch, Cognizant, Wipro, Thought Works, Google, and Payoda would be some of the major companies who came in for providing internships now I guess there are more on this list.

Infrastructure: It was the toughest course I ever attended or heard of someone. Every mark earned there in 3 years is hard-earned and a lot to learn. Professors there set a very high benchmark for students. Industry-level assignments are done in the course curriculum. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. The rooms and infrastructure in the hostel are well-maintained the student's login and out registers are well-kept. Students are bound to follow the rules strictly. Mess and the food are neat and the menu is well-designed by the student's mess committee.

Faculty: Curriculum is well balanced each semester we had 2 programming lab papers, 2 software oriented, and 2 hardware oriented papers with addition of Maths accounts, statistics, and operations research (any of 1) other than that any one of the recent technologies can be taken as electives during my course we had taken electives like cloud computing as that was upcoming by then. We did two minor projects and 1 minor project. Exams there are 2 internals followed by a revision and then the semester. 50% lab session and 50% theory session in a day order.

Good Infrastructure and nice Placement Process.

Placements: I will be completing M.Sc. in Mathematics this year. Our college has already started the placement process. Almost half of us are already placed in some of the top companies like Infosys, TCS, etc. The highest package offered is 20 LPA and an average of 6 LPA. We also did internships in our college. Almost every one of our class got internships in various top companies.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms are spacious and smart. The infrastructure is very clean and good. The library is well-stocked. A large number of study materials is present. Many extracurricular activities are available. Separate hostel facilities are also available with meal service. The canteen offers a variety of quality foods. Medical service is also available 24/7.

Faculty: All the faculty members are very knowledgeable and experienced. They help us students in every situation. Their teaching quality is very good. Textbook learning with proper practical lessons really helps us a lot. The course curriculum is very relevant to future career support. Semester exams are moderately easy level. With proper study, everyone can pass the exams.

Other: The placement process is very good. All the faculty members are very helpful. The infrastructure is good. Events, fests, etc. also are conducted at this college.

Placements: Career opportunities was relatively lower, and there is no independent cell built for searching. We don't have any chance to explore entrepreneurship. And strong network activity is built between the alumni, but they too look for some other opportunities with higher pay.

Infrastructure: And a vast area of campus with individual blocks allotted for each department, with separate departmental libraries arranged for all the blocks. Also, accommodation facilities were arranged by the management separately for girls and boys with the required resources.

Faculty: Supportive faculty members, and they encourage me a lot and help me to study better. Actually, I had done my B.Sc. in Statistics, and with the support of my teachers, I may be able to do M.Sc. in Statistics. Our teachers don't show favoritism to any of the students, but they are caring.

Placements: Our college placement is very active and resourceful. Students are prepared through various internships and project work. Every year, a large number of students get job offers through interviews. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Cognizant, TCS, Bosch, etc. The highest salary package here is 26 LPA. Every year, about 70-75% of students get job offers from the campus. Also, many students get opportunities to go abroad for higher studies.

Infrastructure: The environment here is very nice and clean. Our college has a large library with internet access. The labs are well-equipped and complete with modern equipment. The classrooms are very clean and suitable for studying. Besides, there is a canteen for delicious food and a common room for students. There are also grounds for sports.

Faculty: Our college teachers impart education to the students with care. They guide them in both personal and professional areas. All the teachers in our college are highly educated and experienced. The annual pass rate is more than 90%. They make the students understand the various concepts very easily and also the teachers prepare us through project work, seminars, and various activities.
