My honest review about my college.
Placements: When it comes to placements I would proudly say PSGCAS ranks best among the arts and Science colleges in Coimbatore. I got placed in Cognizant after MCA and the package was lucrative with 3.5 LPA plus incentives. IBM, Bosch, Cognizant, Wipro, Thought Works, Google, and Payoda would be some of the major companies who came in for providing internships now I guess there are more on this list.
Infrastructure: It was the toughest course I ever attended or heard of someone. Every mark earned there in 3 years is hard-earned and a lot to learn. Professors there set a very high benchmark for students. Industry-level assignments are done in the course curriculum. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls. The rooms and infrastructure in the hostel are well-maintained the student's login and out registers are well-kept. Students are bound to follow the rules strictly. Mess and the food are neat and the menu is well-designed by the student's mess committee.
Faculty: Curriculum is well balanced each semester we had 2 programming lab papers, 2 software oriented, and 2 hardware oriented papers with addition of Maths accounts, statistics, and operations research (any of 1) other than that any one of the recent technologies can be taken as electives during my course we had taken electives like cloud computing as that was upcoming by then. We did two minor projects and 1 minor project. Exams there are 2 internals followed by a revision and then the semester. 50% lab session and 50% theory session in a day order.

Good Infrastructure and nice Placement Process.
Placements: I will be completing M.Sc. in Mathematics this year. Our college has already started the placement process. Almost half of us are already placed in some of the top companies like Infosys, TCS, etc. The highest package offered is 20 LPA and an average of 6 LPA. We also did internships in our college. Almost every one of our class got internships in various top companies.
Infrastructure: All the classrooms are spacious and smart. The infrastructure is very clean and good. The library is well-stocked. A large number of study materials is present. Many extracurricular activities are available. Separate hostel facilities are also available with meal service. The canteen offers a variety of quality foods. Medical service is also available 24/7.
Faculty: All the faculty members are very knowledgeable and experienced. They help us students in every situation. Their teaching quality is very good. Textbook learning with proper practical lessons really helps us a lot. The course curriculum is very relevant to future career support. Semester exams are moderately easy level. With proper study, everyone can pass the exams.
Other: The placement process is very good. All the faculty members are very helpful. The infrastructure is good. Events, fests, etc. also are conducted at this college.

One of the best colleges for M.Sc. in Mathematics.
Placements: About 60% of students get placed and the rest go for higher studies. The highest salary package was INR 10 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average salary package was 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The top recruiters were TCS, HCL, Byju's, and Microsoft. Common roles include data analyst, research associate, statistician, and mathematical modeler. 70% of students have secured internships at companies like TCS, Infosys, and various research institutes.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure but limited facilities. They provide labs with all the new equipment and a library with all the materials. Our college offers Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, the best campus vibe, and a very good canteen. The hostel standards are high, and the food is excellent. Hostel facilities are good and provide a mess with hygiene. The college provided medical facilities for students. Sports and entertainment are provided.
Faculty: The faculty members of our institution are knowledgeable, well-experienced, and well-qualified. The teachers in the department are highly qualified for the job. They are very kind, generous and helpful. The syllabus of the course is designed to meet modern-day requirements for the development of science, and the examinations are of medium level; a minimum 50% pass in the semester examination. The pass percentage is 60% in our course.

Placements, guidance and food court, are average, but faculty members and infrastructure are good.
Placements: I am in the third semester, and we are given placement training. Students face burdened with the work they give, and the concerned in-charge faculty member is not approaching students in a soft manner. The percentage of students who got placed is not up to the level.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but it is not given for each department. Instead, they are shared by many departments and makes students work after college hours. The library is very good for students to gain knowledge of the best.
Faculty: Few staff members are very friendly to students and guide them in the best like a parent. But few staff members make us feel that subject is very hard to get into it. The course syllabus is good but not great.
Other: This college organised a few very good competitions which are reached to a greater level. Still, the organisers of the function, i.e., the student in-charge collected money from students stating that it is used for those functions, but it is used for their personal outfits to showcase them on stage. Some students help others in all possible ways for their success. I wish the college to stop collecting money from other students instead depend on the sponsors of the function and also make every student gain this experience.

There is no entrance exam for M.Sc. Mathematics in PSGCAS. The admission are based on merit. The merit is prepared on the basis of following parameters.
1. Higher Total marks
2. Senior in terms of date of birth
3. Earlier Registration date and time

Syllabus:
The syllabus consists of some core subjects and electives. At the end of each semester students has to submit an assignment which is the part of the internal assessment.The syllabus is made in such a way that it focuses deep into the analytics and methods to make a person function practica
