Overall, best college for M.Sc. in statistics course.

Placements: Nearly 75% of the pupils were assigned. 7 LPA was the lowest package while 27 LPA was the highest salary. Among the leading recruitment firms were Pfizer, Sanofi, Anantics, and others. Approximately 70% of students obtained internships. Statistical analyst, biostatistician, and other positions were available.

Infrastructure: Compared to every other college, my college was the best. Classrooms were always clean and tidy. Many knowledgeable books were also provided by great authors in our library. Our own textbooks were also convenient in our college library. We also had a kitchen with fresh snacks and water. Every Saturday, there were performances. There was a separate room/hall for tennis, carrom, and more.

Faculty: You could get any questions, you had regarding the course answered by the excellent professors thus far. M.Sc. in mathematics curriculum may had been improved. The examination course was a little disorganized. The course material was suitable. 60% of students passed the semester exams, which were comparatively difficult.

M.Sc. Statistics at Coimbatore.

Placements: Career opportunities was relatively lower, and there is no independent cell built for searching. We don't have any chance to explore entrepreneurship. And strong network activity is built between the alumni, but they too look for some other opportunities with higher pay.

Infrastructure: And a vast area of campus with individual blocks allotted for each department, with separate departmental libraries arranged for all the blocks. Also, accommodation facilities were arranged by the management separately for girls and boys with the required resources.

Faculty: Supportive faculty members, and they encourage me a lot and help me to study better. Actually, I had done my B.Sc. in Statistics, and with the support of my teachers, I may be able to do M.Sc. in Statistics. Our teachers don't show favoritism to any of the students, but they are caring.

Honest review of my great college.

Placements: After the 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Many MNCs like IBM, Infosys, Cisco, and Procter & Gamble, among others, visit our college campus to hire students. The average package starts from 4-6 LPA, and the highest package goes up to 22 LPA.

Infrastructure: The hostels are adequate compared to other government engineering colleges. Some hostels are in great condition, while others need renovation. Every hostel has its own mess, which is a great benefit. The food quality is decent, with 4 meals a day and the menu changed weekly. Hostels have 24/7 electricity, water, and many other facilities. The cleaning staff comes daily, which is a great aspect of the college hostel. The registration process is very easy, and the rent is affordable for students.

Faculty: Specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course include its wide requirement for assistant manager and data analytical posts in banks. The faculty-to-student relationship is friendly. The faculty are well-experienced and highly qualified, with all teachers holding Ph.D. degrees from reputed universities. Approachability to faculty members is easy. There are mostly 2 semester exams in addition to practicals and mid-term exams. Class size is 57, and the course fees are INR 10,000 per year.

Good college but does not have more placement facilities.

Placements: 10 percent of students got placed in the course with the highest package of 7 lakhs per annum and the lowest package of 3 lakhs per annum in top companies like Deloitte, Google, Amazon, etc., with roles of data analyst, business analyst, etc. In the college, our batch students are good and friendly in nature and liked by our batchmates with that course also.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and limited facilities are available in our college. They provide labs with all new equipment, library with all materials. The hostel facilities are good and they provide mess with hygienic and medical facilities available in our college. Sports and games are provided for every semester.

Faculty: The faculty members are good in teaching and helping us a lot in all terms. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. Our course curriculum and the semesters are so difficult and we can't pass easily. We have to study hard to get good marks and the passing percentage is 45 percent which means 34 marks.

Yes, you can. But, you want to check up with the merit basis admission. Compared to last year admission, this percentage is low for the merit. Still, you can approach the college and the statistics department for the further details to get in.
