B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering - Batch of 2020

Dissatisfied with environment, lack of faculty and placements. No labs in function.
Placements: 20 to 30% students got placed. 4 Lacs per annum was the highest, 3 Lacs is average and 1.5 Lacs is the lowest package offered. TCS, Pie Infocom, Infosys are the recruiting companies. 60-70% students got internship in industrial training in companies like BHEL, Bharat Electronics limited and Bajaj electrical Ltd.
Infrastructure: Faculty in our college do not have enough knowledge, I'm not judging but the truth is that they may have better degrees but if they are are unable to solve students' doubts then how could I say they are good. Infrastructure is moderate. No Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms are good but mostly emptied. But interesting point is that B.Tech students do not have their classes, they study in labs all the time because the number of students are in a single digit in some branches like ours. Library is good. Labs are not in function, firstly we don't have enough equipment and if we have then no Lab Assistants. The college is just focusing on completing the syllabus, no practical knowledge and no labs. Hostels and food quality of mess is very bad.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good and knowledgeable. But some have just one line "Search it on Google". Lack of faculty, So the interest of students decrease time by time. These courses are curriculum relevant.
Other: I chose this course because I liked electrical engineering too much. The equipments all around us are electrical so I chose electrical engineering. To repairing a charger, any fault at home like short circuit, all the things make electrical engineering live. It looks like I'm implementing my bookish knowledge here. For the improvement of our course they can start labs regularly, start personality development programme, talk with students more. Events, Seminars and Fests are organised by our college.
