B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science - Batch of 2022
2.4
It is a miscellaneous college. There are no placements.
Placements: None of the students get placed in my college. The placement cell here is to fool students. No one gets a job after completing a B.A. in political science from this college. No company comes here to recruit students. So students have to do a master's after graduation if they want a job.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, canteen, indoor playroom, and sports equipment were there in the college. The canteen was not a cheap one. So forget about any government subsidy in our lunch or breakfast. There is a lack of sports equipment. The leader-type students play with them.
Faculty: One teacher was good. The rest were average. One was very bad at teaching. They do not make students industry-ready. But the course curriculum was good. Semester exams were easy. About 40% is the pass percentage. In my course, the subjects I learned in 1st year were good because the teacher was good. But after that, I never got such teachers in my course.
Other: Students are privileged if they get admission here.

Our college has the best qualified teachers.
Placements: A good percentage of students got the best internships. I am studying right now but this is the data of my seniors who got the best packages. The salary package offered in the B.Tech is 20 LPA. It is very good. The salary package offered in our course is 10 LPA, which is good.
Infrastructure: Our college provides the best facilities for students with low fees. The Wi-Fi speed is good. Libraries are full of useful subject-related books. The food served in the canteen is good and hygienic in taste. An annual sports day is organised in the college every year.
Faculty: Our teachers are top-educated. They are selected from all over India. They treat students in a good manner. The teaching quality is good. It makes students industry-ready. Exams are not very difficult and not easy. The pass percentage is 63%.
Other: Everything is good but there is no scholarship section, But obviously, the feeling is too low.

Ram lal anand college a south campus
Placements: I am a fresher so i cant say anything about placements and in college of arts and commerce its unlike that they get 100% placement many come here for preparation of government exams. Curriculum is also good and may contain the topics that is important for entrance tests like UPSC, military exams.
Infrastructure: The life at campus is well and good. It has green garden a ground. Indoor games hub. Can play games like football, cricket and hockey, volleyball etc. Library is well and good it has all books and distinguished according to their subject. The campus is also equipped with wifi. There is also medical room. Food in canteen is hygienic and good. But there is no hostel for it.
Faculty: For every subject there is one teacher. For example in my course there are three core subjects that is DSC-1,2,3 there is one teacher for every subject. All the faculties have done PHD and well qualified. There teaching skills are good and they also engage and clarify doubts. There is also specific teachers allotted for GE, VAC, SEC, AEC optional papers and they are also good. There is nothing to show they are bad. Exams is that for every year there will be 2 semester and exams is only for semester. For me the difficulty is medium so maximum students pass it.
Other: The aspects of political science like political theory and ideals, institutions in political thoughts and politics since colonialism etc are topics which coincide with UPSC Political science optional paper so i choose it. For further academics like M.A or PHD you can proceed with topics related to international relations, political thinker or writer or becoming a professor etc by which you can get jobs in embassy, foreign secretary etc. Areas of improvement will be the optional paper courses not about core. The syllabus of optional paper should be more comprehensive. Frequency of exams is 2 times per year that is semester according to your options you have to give 4 exams on optional and 3 main. Fests are conducting according to month and its specialty like in this month there will be garba and next month freshers and etc. There are many societies in college like more than 40 societies and they have their own topics but i think they don't run any websites.

Really good infrastructure and facilities. Best college to study Political Science hons.
Placements: There was no placement offered to the students of political science. But yes many students were part of placement cell of RLA, which helps them to get internship at various organizations. Half of the batch did internships during the college tenure. The Ramlal Anand College also provides placement to other courses like mass media, journalism etc. The internship opportunities are provided by the teachers. Students are also encouraged to do the research work with the teachers. The placement fair is also organized by the college which is open for the last year students, and many students gets the internships and jobs in various companies.
Infrastructure: RLAC has a good infrastructure, the classes are very spacious and has good ventilation. The classes has smart boards, projectors and the electricity is also good. The college has wifi and all the students have the access to it. There is a girls common room where there is no boys allowed. All the sports facilities are available with a huge sports room also. The canteen is also very spacious and clean. The quality food is served in canteen. The variety of food can be found in the canteen. The college has a common ground with Aryabhatta college. The drinking water is also available in college. The washrooms are clean. The medical room is also there for all the medical facilities. The campus is neat and clean. The guards are always present at the entry of college. The college has safe environment. The parking facility is also available. The library is very big with air conditioners. It is one of the best library in south campus. The college organizes educational trips for the different course for practical education. The tutorial are also provided to the students along with the lectures. No hostel facilities are provided.
Faculty: The teachers are great and experienced. The quality of teaching at the college is great. The curriculum is always up to date. The exams are difficult but all the study material is provided to the students. The students are given the reality checks at every point. There are various societies in college that organize competition with cash prize. The college makes its students ready for the industry. The teachers are very humble. The non teaching staff of the college is also very helpful.
Other: The course is very popular and very relevant in present times. The students preparing for the competitive exams like UPSC, SSC etc gets help from this course. The teachers for political science in RLAC are one of the best in Delhi University. The debates are organized once in every two months for students to express themselves and become ready for the outer world. The crowd of campus is safe and nice. The people are very open minded. There is no restriction on clothes in the college. The campus is safe for girls. The scholarships are provided to the students for sports, for study etc. There are many extra curricular activities provided by the college. The college has different societies like drama, fashion, gender, debate, maths, science, journalism etc. There are societies for all the courses offered by the college. Events are organized by college on various occasions. The fest is also organized every year in the college. There are many restaurants near the college. The nearest metro station to the college is Durgabai Deshmukh south campus. The area around the college has all the facilities.

Average, but you will enjoy it.
Placements: In my batches (Political Science Honours), students got admission in the general category between 680 to 700 marks, but reserved candidates can easily get admission with 500 marks. We have a placement cell in our college, but I guess it is not capable enough to ensure even an internship, so please do not rely on it. There is a very low percentage of students who got placements, and most of them are from Science courses like Computer Science, etc.
Infrastructure: We have pretty good facilities in our college such as library, toilets, water availability, and the labs for required courses are also good. There are WiFi facilities on the campus too, and the staff of the admin office is very good; they are very helpful. One of the most important things is the canteen, which after the reshuffle of the contract, has now become very good; they provide quality food at a minimum price.
Faculty: One of the most beautiful things about this college is the faculty. They are really helpful with a polite manner. There are many extracurricular activities which are very relevant to everyday life. The exams depend on the subject, whether core or electives. I think if you are a regular college student, you will not face much difficulty passing the exams.
Other: Due to the CSAS portals launched by DU in my admission year, I had no other option because of the preference system. I can say it's kind of like lucky draws.

Overview of Ram Lal Anand College.
Placements: There are no official placements at Ram Lal College, although there is a placement cell in the college that conducts an annual internship fair for everyone. Students from all courses can sit for interviews at this fair and there is a high chance of landing an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not pleasing the main building is old and shared with another college named Aryabhata, and in addition to that, there are many places on the campus that are under construction. There is no facility for either girls or boys in the hostel; the canteen is average and there is shared space for sports.
Faculty: The professors of the faculty are really helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, and have an interactive and indulging way of teaching. The curriculum for the course is relevant and there are some added subjects that help with skill enhancement, value addition and also a compulsory Hindi subject.
Other: I chose political science because of my interest in the subject, as it is very practical and relevant to society. Things that could be improved in our course are making discussions and debates more prevalent in the classrooms.

Classes are big and good Wi-Fi facilities .
Placements: There are good placements in my college. There are many societies in my college in which you can participate, such as the placement cell in which you will learn the skills that are important to start a future in entrepreneurship. And companies also approach there.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure of classrooms and the library; however, there are no hostels, but PGs are available near the college. Neat and clean library and classrooms, and also Wi-Fi. Laptops are also there for use in libraries. Canteen food is very tasty and very affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, very generous, kind, and will help you at every point in time. The course curriculum is also very relevant and will be helpful in very competitive exams. Semester papers are moderate; if you study consistently, then you will be able to answer all.
Other: Campus crowd is very good, but the campus size is not too big; it is small and does not have good facilities for sports.

Satisfied with college faculty and overall infrastructure is good.
Placements: As of now, college does provide some placements but it doesn't offer many placements. Moreover, students who are enrolled in the political Science course are mainly preparing for the competitive examinations like UPSC state service, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the course structure is very good. There are many facilities available in the college like library which has lots of book related to the course, Wi-Fi is also available and soon. As of now, the college doesn't provide hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified intellectuals and helpful. The teach very well. The course curriculum is very good. Semester exams are from average to difficult. If you will study hard, you will definitely get good marks in semester exam. Beside these there will be internal tests as well.
