Overall, a good experience.
Placements: The placements in the college are just above average. Around 10 LPA for CSE and about 7 LPA-8 LPA for other branches packages are offered, though the placement percentage is around 95 percent for CSE and 80 percent around for other branches. Major students got internships here. Around 90 percent of students got internships in companies like Samsung, De Shaw, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is a bit old compared to BMSCE and other colleges. Although the labs are fine, but the classrooms, etc., are a bit old and there are no digital classrooms. The Wi-Fi is provided to every student, but the speed is very low. The sports facilities are also a bit average. The mess and canteen are good.
Faculty: Faculty in colleges is good. Talking about the 1st year, they are helpful. Also, they take doubts in Hindi if someone does not understand. They provide you with material to ace exams. The semester exams are at a pretty good level. The pass percentage is around 85 percent, and the maximum is good marks.
Other: I had an interest in CSE, got cybersecurity as per my rank and cutoff of COMEDK.

Satisfied with the teaching of the college, as it's average to good.
Placements: Core companies like Texas Instruments, Samsung Semiconductor, Schneider, and many more have come for placements, and they are regular as far as I know. According to placement data, 80-85 were placed in 2025, and the process is still going on. Roles like embedded systems engineer and VLSI roles are also offered by some companies. But CSE-related companies are more here, and most of the ECE students who get placements get them in IT roles. Apart from that, the clubs here are in abundance and active, too, as far as I know.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but it feels like more school than college. Labs are well-maintained. College is hygienic and clean. Modern labs are also there. Hostels are mid, it's affordable too, it mainly depends on the money you can get, an Rs. 80,000 hostel or a 1.3 lacs hostel. The facilities are different, with an overall average.
Faculty: Curriculum is good and up-to-date and relevant. Teachers are good. Some are good, and some are average, like in every other college. Exams have average to high-level of difficulty, but you will be able to pass. The percentage is approximatly 80% for a class, but most students pass the exam.

Placements and faculty are good, but few extracurricular activities.
Placements: Almost 95 percent of students get placed here in companies with average CTC of 9LPA. MSRIT has strong placements with many top companies visiting the campus. Students receive good training in aptitude and interviews. CSE, ISE, and ECE SEE high packages, while other branches also get solid opportunities. Overall, placement support is reliable.
Infrastructure: MSRIT offers a well maintained campus with modern classrooms, advanced labs, and strong Wi-Fi coverage. The library is spacious and resource rich. Sports facilities and common areas are clean and organized, creating a productive academic environment.
Faculty: The faculty at MSRIT is knowledgeable and approachable with many professors having strong industry and research backgrounds. They explain concepts clearly and support students through projects and doubt sessions ensuring solid academic guidance and mentorship.

Good placements in 2025, decent faculty for the first year, and a decent college.
Placements: This year, the highest package is 60 LPA, which is good. The average is around 14–15 LPA for Cyber. There are many chances to secure an internship, as the college is near the Silicon Valley of India, Bangalore. On-campus opportunities are also good. Top recruiting companies are Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Google, Swiggy, and PhonePe.
Infrastructure: The average infrastructure is not very modern, but it is okay. Wi-Fi is mediocre. Hostel quality varies based on the course fees. The luxury one, which is 1.3 LPA, is much better compared to the Rs. 80,000 per year one. Food is good. There are multiple sports clubs you can join. Labs are okay, and classrooms are like coaching ones, which is the only downside.
Faculty: I have not given the first semester exam yet, so I don’t know when I will give it. I will share later, but I heard it is moderate to difficult for first-year students. The course curriculum is good and relevant. Teachers are helpful. Some teachers are very good, but some are average, like in every other college. Faculty is helpful.
Other: I hope they provide merit scholarships.

Satisfied with placement, facilities, and teaching.
Placements: Highest package offered in my Computer Science (cybersecurity) course recently has been 38 LPA in the 4th year. Top recruiting companies include renowned companies like Accenture, Swiggy, etc. The top roles offered in my course are as a cybersecurity analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: As for course and classrooms, the facilities provided are excellent. They have a working Wi-Fi all over the campus, free for students, and a very wide range of study materials available in the library, along with the facility to read silently during exams. As for the hostel, the quality of mess is not that good. Also, the fixes needed with the hostel infrastructure can be ignored or done a whole while later, which makes living really difficult. Canteen outside the hostel, i.e, inside the college, is good. Other facilities are good too.
Faculty: Teachers in MSRIT are knowledgeable and helpful. They are ready to reach outside classroom and teach you about more application-based topics. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not hard if you study well throughout the year. The pass percentage is around 80% as of this year.
Other: Well, the college doesn't have any huge fests other than tech fests, which also don't even seem like fests in the first place. The only big fest is the Udhbhav fest, and it's not very engaging like other fests seen in other colleges. One thing, if you had to give up when you enter MSRIT, is to give up on the idea of having fun. Because you won't have proper fests, and even during fests, sometimes classes will be taking place. So, it's not really recommended in that aspect. But otherwise, placement, studies, and facilities are all good.

The college provides placement training and has a separate placement cell. Top companies like HP, JP Morgan, Dell, Microsoft, and Amazon visit for on-campus placements.
Infrastructure: 24/7 Wi-Fi is available. Labs and classrooms are well-equipped. The library is informative and includes a digital library. Hostel, mess, and canteen facilities are clean and good. Lab instructors and faculty members are supportive. Medical facilities are available, along with a gym, sports, and game areas.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. The passing percentage is above 90%. Assignments are project-oriented.
