It provides good campus environment.

Placements: 96 percent of students got placed. The highest package was 7 LPA. The average package was 5 LPA. The minimum package was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Tata Group, Havells, ASC International, Amardeep, Voltas, Chetu, and Sundaram.

Infrastructure: Campus was Wi-Fi enabled, along with huge labs and AC classrooms. A digital library was available. Quality of food was good and hygiene was maintained. Medical facilities were available. Sports facilities were also provided on campus. Overall, good facilities were provided.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was relevant, though somewhat difficult, but teachers made it easy to understand.

Other: The environment was good, with a healthy atmosphere, knowledgeable faculty members, and a clean campus.

Good college life as I want .

Placements: Only 5% student is placed with higher package with our course and the highest package is like 30 lpa and the lowest is around 2 lpa and average package is 4 lpa. Top companies is come but for CS sector mechanical engineering is not demand as software engineer. 40% student get the internship. Course role is not in demand as compared to computer Science .

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities services is quite impressive and infrastructure is good, classes are fine, labs are okay. Library is big we can say that all over the facilities services is good but the food / mess is normal and medical is good. Sports and games is awesome .

Faculty: Teachers are really good. Talking with the teacher is easy, teachers listen to our problem and solve them. They are well qualified. According to me course isn't making the students industry ready because what the industry need is totally different from what we learn now so passing in semester is easy.

Other: Course best thing is we learn what I want (not about industry) like welding, scale, etc. Better explanation makes improve my course. Events are normal, crowd is awesome, fest is okay, scholarship is not too good and all other activities is cool.

Review of Roorkee Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements of our college are satisfactory. Almost 90% of the students get placed from the college in different good companies that come to recruit. The average salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered goes up to 15 LPA. Many students get the chance to do internships in various IITs and other companies.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a good infrastructure for labs, classrooms, library and playing areas. We have a high-speed Wi-Fi facility. There are well-equipped labs for different subjects and courses. Every classroom is attached with projectors and we also have a digital library in college.

Faculty: Our course of mechanical engineering is designed as per Uttarakhand Technical University and is comparable with various other institutes. Faculty members in the college are well qualified, knowledgeable, and very helpful. The course provided with the help of our faculty members makes us industry-ready.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering as it is the best branch among all and its need and scope are evergreen. Many events are celebrated on campus.

Placements: For our batch i.e. 2019 batch, placements were right on top. Placement cell worked very hard to bring some serious brands to the campus. Brands like Amazon, Byju's, Omaxe, Indus tower, Ritutech, etc. Most of the students of our batch got placed in well-reputed companies. Placement ratio was 85%.

Infrastructure: RIT campus is spread over 30 acres of area with lush green and cleanliness. Separate buildings for engineering, management, and B.Sc. courses. Inside campus hostels for boys and girls. Separate messes for vegetarian and non-vegetarian students. Wi-Fi enabled campus with 24 hours power backup.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified from well-known colleges of India and outside India also. Most of them are PhDs and remaining have done Masters in their respective fields. The course curriculum is according to Uttarakhand Technical University. Additional to the syllabus RIT provides many professional courses.

Other: RIT is providing many scholarships to its students on a meritorious basis. Apart from studies, RIT organizes many festivals on the campus like sports fest, cultural fest, and technical fest. Also DJ nights, Halloween parties, etc.

Engineering in RIT is wonderful.

Placements: RIT stands as one of the best colleges in Uttarakhand in terms of placements. In recent years, the management of RIT has worked very hard to make it possible. The placement cell of RIT brings some really good companies to the campus. We had a lot of opportunities to get placed in decent companies.

Infrastructure: The campus is lush green and clean. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are neat and clean and have projectors to facilitate digital lectures. Both the hostels are available inside the campus. There are separate mess facilities for vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and experienced enough to teach and make good engineers out of students. Most of them are PhD holders. M.Tech is the least qualification required to be a faculty in RIT. The course curriculum is according to the norms of Uttarakhand Technical University.

Other: RIT is famous for its colourful culture. Many fests are conducted throughout the year, starting with the freshers' party followed by sports fest, Halloween party, technical fest named Technomax and a cultural fest named Anugoonj.

Teaching level and infrastructure are average. Placements are not that good.

Placements: Only 5-7 students got placed from our batch (2012-2016) in a company named as Sandhar Technologies. Other than this, no other companies have visited the campus to hire the students of our core branch. There are many other companies from the BPO sector and IT sector visited the campus for placements. Students of the mechanical search for core jobs by themselves.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There is a free Wi-Fi facility in the hostel with good speed. The library is good and well maintained but is not easily accessible during lecture hours. Classrooms are well furnished and well-lit. Labs of our branch are good and well equipped. Sports facilities are good as there are 2 fields for games. There is one volleyball court inside the hostel, and there are nets available to play badminton too.

Faculty: Faculty members are the main issue in our college or any private colleges. Although they are qualified, they help only if the student is interested. The student to faculty ratio is good during my tenure as there were 12-15 faculty members present in the mechanical department. Sometimes the college organises good industrial visits. The college has organised almost 2-3 industrial visits during our tenure.

Other: The connectivity to our college is good. The campus surroundings are also good. Every year the college organises an annual cultural fest. The campus crowd was around 1000 during my tenure. The college also provided scholarship facilities.

Satisfied with the placement records and faculty.

Placements: Placements are not good at RIT. Very few students get placed in reputed companies. Many companies that come to RIT are fraud companies. But still, some well-reputed companies also come to the campus and recruit students after conducting a written test.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Roorkee Institute of Technology is very good. There are greenish grounds and parks that make RIT look more beautiful. There are separate boys and girls hostels, and the hostels also have good infrastructure with gym and other indoor games.

Faculty: Faculty of Roorkee Institute of Technology are average. Some faculty members are very good and highly qualified, but some faculty are not good as good as we expected. Almost all courses are available in RIT including Diploma and B.Sc agriculture.

Other: Anoogunj is the cultural fest that is organised every year in RIT. Students who score 80% in their sem exams are rewarded Rs. 5,000 as a scholarship.

The best college to start your future.

Placements: I got placed in times world Globacom, and it is a robotics company in Okhla phase 2. At my time, the highest package was 56 lacs per anum, and that guy was selected in USA Texas. RIT has the best placement among all the colleges in Uttarakhand. Even Indian Army and Indian Navy come to RIT for pool campus.

Infrastructure: The best infrastructure with a lot of greenery in the campus is present. The college is within 30-acres of land, and it has 3 blocks, i.e. a, b, and c with girls and boys hostel build inside the campus. There is indoor sports complex inside the hostel for students for their recreational activity.

Faculty: All faculty members are well-experienced and well-educated. The individual trainee is provided for the students for their experiments and their practicals as well. The various courses are offered by RIT like B.Tech, Polytechnic, BBA, B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Forestry, M.Tech, MBA, BED.
