SIRT has an excellent placement record. In 2022, 70% of students from the Sagar Institute of Research and Technology (SIRT) in Bhopal were placed. The highest package was INR 23 LPA, the lowest was INR 2.8 LPA, and the average package was around INR 4.5 LPA. SIRT Bhopal accepts scores of JEE Main entrance exam for admission to a four-year BTech programme. However, for other courses, the college considers the past academic merit of Class 12. Candidates must submit the JEE Main score at the time of admission and participate in DTE counselling process.

To get admission to a full-time BTech programme at SIRT Bhopal, candidates must fulfil the basic eligibility requirements of the programme before applying for the course. Admission to this course is entrance-based. Candidates who passed graduation in BTech from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the programme. The final selection is based on a valid JEE Main score, followed by MP BE Counselling.

Sagar Institute of Research and Technology offers a wide range of programmes to students at the UG and PG levels. The college offers a BTech programme to students at the UG level for a duration of 4 years. SIRT Bhopal admissions are mainly merit-based. However, for BTech course, the college accepts a valid score of JEE Main. Further, candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme must be Class 12 passed with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised board. 

Sagar Institute of Research and Technology offers 1000+ seats for a BTech course. The Institute offers specialisations in BTech through the affiliation of RGPV University. The Institute offers 60 seats each in specialisations such as Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. It offers 120 seats each in specialisations such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Computer Science and Engineering (Cyber Security). SIRT Bhopal has a Student Activity Cell which has 8 clubs in total that are led by the student body, Utkarsh Club, Manchan Club, Arjun Club, Discipline Club, Kalpana Club, Shikhar Club, Tarang Club, and Chalchitra Club. Apart from these clubs, the Institute has NSS and NCC that play a vital role in Institutional activities at SIRT Bhopal. There is an Entrepreneurial Development Cell (EDC) and there are Training and Placement (T&P) trainers.

SIRT Bhopal can be considered famous for its BTech course. The Institute offers 1000+ seats in 16 specialisations with an eligibility criterion of aggregate marks from class 12 through the CBSE board or ISC / MPBSE. Apart from the class 12 aggregate marks, candidates must score in the JEE Main cut-off. An average package for a BTech graduate reaches INR 3.5 Lakh- INR 4.8 Lakh.

The SIRT Bhopal owns the approval of AICTE and contains the membership from IEEE and ACM. It also received rank 12 for being the best for its MBA/PGDM course as per the Business Today Ranked Colleges in Madhya Pradesh in 2023. According to India Today 2023, SIRT received the rank of 141 for the ‘Engineering (Private)’ category. The Institute marked INR 23 LPA as its the highest salary package with BTech as its flagship course. The institute provides 6.91 acres of campus with in-house facilities and a holistic curriculum for the students.

Technocrates Institute of Technology, on the other hand, holds a NIRF ranking for the year 2021, for its flagship course, BTech. It is ranked 10 among the NIRF-ranked colleges in Madhya Pradesh for Btech, as of the year 2021. The Institute marked INR 21.7 LPA as its the highest package with a 90% placement rate. It offers a total of 6 programs such as BTech, BPharma, MBA, MTech, and MCA along with specializations and Diploma courses.
