Good college with no placements

Placements: It has the worst placement cell ever which doesn't work on time. They are not at all interested in students of the Master degree. Just because they are not paid for it, they do not take responsibility for placements of the Master degree students. The placement cell head is arrogant as if he is the solely responsible for placements. He always brags about himself and does not take care of students well.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and the campus is well-situated in the centre of Andheri, Near to the Andheri station and Azad Nagar metro. It has a good accessibility and the campus is good. The building is old but well-planned. It has an amphitheatre in the middle.

Faculty: The faculty team is good, knowledgeable, smart and experienced. There are a few faculty members who are arrogant about their knowledge. But overall, there is a good bunch of teachers. A few teachers are PhD holders while a few are Master degree holders. Overall, you will find a good faculty team. There is recruitment every year, so you get to see a new face every year.

Can I get into Sardar Patel College of Engg. for M.Tech (machine design) if I crack GATE with a good score but my academics aren't good?

Hello Karan, Yes, droppers are also eligible for GATE exam as this exam is both for job and for higher studies, so you have to score good to get selected. All the best.
