Absolutely satisfied with my college because of smart and well qualified faculty.
Placements: Companies like Amtek Pvt. Ltd. visited the campus for placements. I got placed in a parts manufacturing company located at Gurugram. They offered me a salary of Rs. 15,000 per month. Since I was interested in starting my first job after the completion of my course, I joined there. Around 48 out of 60 students of our batch were placed in reputed organisations.
Infrastructure: The college provides a Wi-Fi facility. Our college has computer labs and classrooms. There is a library where we can read books comfortably as silence is always maintained there. Our college also provides sports facilities. I love the hostel life that I had during my college days. There are three different blocks for all courses. Our college also has a well hygienic canteen.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college were very helpful and well qualified. They always used practical methods to offer knowledge to us. All the faculty members of our mechanical department used to guide us well. Three different courses are offered in our college. B. Tech course is offered in 5 streams, and the polytechnic course is also offered in 5 streams. Our college also offers B.Ed course.
Other: The surroundings of the college are the ones which I miss most from my college life. The college is located near a river and a town. We all enjoyed our 4 years of education there.

Overall satisfied. The college should be working on placements of students.
Placements: Placements are normal with a maximum package of 8.5 LPA. The companies hire most of the students in the college. Not many companies come in the campus, but students go in open pool campus placements and get them placed in the companies or big MNCs.
Infrastructure: All facilities are provided except Wi-Fi in hostels, but the administration said that they will solve this issue soon. Labs of the institution are well maintained, and they are provided to the students. Classrooms are well furnished and spacious. CCTVs are installed in classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers and their teaching are one of the best things in the college. They are very helpful and also good motivators. The teachers are very well qualified and work hard for students performance. The way they teach is brilliant. They clear all the doubts by preparing a presentation for students and take the smart classes.

An average college for admission.
Placements: The placement of the college is not much good, we can say it is average. Most of the times, the companies which come to the college are BPO companies which are not good for every branch. The salary package by those companies is also not much good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good enough. There are well-maintained classrooms, buildings as well as hostel. A seminar hall with good seating capacity is available for seminars. A cafeteria and green park are also available in the college and well parking lot as well.
Faculty: The faculty and the course curriculum are good. The faculty members help the students in their education and development. The faculty are friendly with the students, they help the weak students by arranging extra classes so that weak students can also manage to get good grades in the examinations.

My college is excellent at the education point but the placement and infrastructure is below average
Placements: The placement and internship both programmes are below average. I am not quite happy with the placement programme of my college. My college placement is well for the computer science engineers, but for mechanical, it is not good. I am going to complete my B.Tech in the mechanical department from Shivalik college and six months are left, and I have no job at all. I got do not have any hope for my college anymore.
Infrastructure: My college is not the best, but good for civil, electronics and computer science engineers because there are few instruments and tools for them. But as a mechanical engineer, I can say there is no future planning for me in my college. When I joined Shivalik college, there were no machines in my college. There was a lab of material science in which I have to perform 6 or 7 practicals, but they are only on papers. I have performed only one practical in real life, which was based on the moulds. The CNC machine arrived when my 3rd year is nearly completed, and I worked on it only one day. I was eager to learn, so I learnt lathe outside of my college during my project. I paid for that Rs. 30,000. The environment of the college is very calm and pleasing.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and full of knowledge except one or two. The faculty interaction with the students is very good. There is no racism among other branch faculty members with the students, that is the best thing I like about my college. The faculty members are great.

Don't have good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: The placements offered for our senior batch students was far better than our batch. Shivalik got the best placement award in 2015 but in 2016 very few companies visited the campus. No mechanical company visited the campus. Only software companies and BPO visited the campus. The salary offered was only Rs. 10000.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not much good. The campus is not having good Wi-Fi facility. The college does not have the medical facilities, and the labs are not well equipped. The classrooms don't have the projectors so that the student can't easily get the knowledge through presentations.
Faculty: The faculty members over there are not much qualified. Few faculty members have good knowledge otherwise rest of them do not have conceptual approach. The people are not able to teach in the classroom. The faculty members over there don't having good knowledge.

Overview of the college faculty, infrastructure and placement.
Placements: Placements are okay but trade-wise placement is not so good. Basically, BPOs and marketing recruiters come at the end of the 7th semester and recruited most of the students. A placement team is there and it suggests all possible ways get placed. Our senior batch placements were also very good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The college campus is of 22 acres including the hostel facilities. There are good mess services and Wi-Fi facility is also available with a minimum speed of 1 Mbps. There are two grounds on the campus. One is for basketball players and the other is for footballers and cricketers.
Faculty: Faculty members are well educated and caring. They are helpful and experienced. The college has knowledgeable faculty members. Student-faculty ratio is 10 on 80 students. They carefully teach, and in class, give valuable information. Also, regarding the career, they teach in a modern way.
