D Y Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics offers BSc is offered as a honors degree with research, that lasts for four years. However, the BSc curriculumallows students to exit the degree courses within a specified time period without losing credits. The BSc course is spread across eight semesters. Candidates must have twelve years of school education with 50% in Physics, Chemistry and English compulsory and the student should have cleared either Mathematics / Biology to get admitted to the BSc course.

Financial Aid at the University is of three main types:
– University Aid which is administered and funded by University managed funds
– External Aid which is administered by the University but funded by third parties
– Third Party Aid that is facilitated by the University but administered and funded by third parties

- Deviations from the terms of this Policy are permitted only in so far as they are necessary to meet the mandatory requirements of specific External and Third Party Aid. There may be additional processes and criteria specified by donors of External and Third Party Aid. The University shall encourage and facilitate students applying for External and Third Party Aid.
- The term “financial aid” shall include: the grant of a certain sum of money as a grant or loan; fee waivers and exemptions; loan interest payments; stipends to cover living expenses

DY Patil- SBB Mumbai offers an Master of Science (MSc) programme at the PG level. Candidates must have minimum 50 % aggreagte in Class 12 and graduation to apply for admission. Selection is merit-based. The specialisations available are

Candidates must begin the admission process with the online application process, which is conducted in complete online mode. Fill out the form with all the required informationa and make a payment of INR 2,000 as an application fee. Once the application form is submitted, DY Patil College of Engineering Navi Mumbai will send an acknowledgment email which will explain how to check the status of the application. Once the application has been received, it will be considered and the candidate might have to come for an interview/Group Discussion/Written Test or undertake the same online. It will further analyze the application to ensure the eligibility criteria for the programmes for the desired programme applying for. 

As per the D Y Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics admission policy, the BSc qualification requires candidates to be either 17 years of age or attain the age at the time of admission. Further, the students must have passed twelve years of school education with equivalent examination from a recognised board, with minimum 50% aggregate of all subjects. Physics, Chemistry and English are compulsory and the student should have cleared either Mathematics / Biology in class 12 examinations leading to an aggregate of 50% as mentioned above.

Interested candidates have to fill the online application form and pay the registration fee and submit the form on the official webite of DY Patil-SBB Navi Mumbai. After the successful application, a copy of the submitted form will be sent to the registered email id of the candidate as acknowledgement.

After checking the eligiblity, the institute will call candidates for counselling process.
