DY Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics has a placement cell that works closely with students to assist them in obtaining jobs in their desired fields and preparing for placement interviews. The institute has concluded its placement drive for the batch 2022, and a total of 56 UG and 89 PG students were placed during DY Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics placements 2022. D Y Patil School of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics offers BSc is offered as a honors degree with research, that lasts for four years. However, the BSc curriculumallows students to exit the degree courses within a specified time period without losing credits. The BSc course is spread across eight semesters. Candidates must have twelve years of school education with 50% in Physics, Chemistry and English compulsory and the student should have cleared either Mathematics / Biology to get admitted to the BSc course. 

DY Patil- SBB Mumbai offers an Master of Science (MSc) programme at the PG level. Candidates must have minimum 50 % aggreagte in Class 12 and graduation to apply for admission. Selection is merit-based. The specialisations available are
