    Good placement, excellent infrastructure, and industry-oriented chemical engineering curriculum.
    Placements: Almost 85-90 percent of students, specifically those who are eligible and opted for placements. The highest package is 25 LPA-27 LPA. Average package is 7 LPA-8 LPA. Recruiting companies are Reliance Industries, Exxon Mobil, Shell, and Adani. Top roles offered are process engineer, production engineer, and process design engineer.
    Infrastructure: There is good infrastructure with Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, well-equipped chemical engineering labs, CS labs, library, and modern teaching facilities. Labs are good for both practicals and projects. The mess is average to good, with a canteen option available. Medical facilities, sports ground, and indoor and outdoor game facilities on campus are available.
    Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant and industry-oriented. It also provides practical exposure, which makes students job-ready. Exams are moderately difficult. Normal exam preparation is mostly enough, almost everything is taught in the lecture itself. Pass percentage is generally high.

    Course outcome of chemical engineering.
    Placements: There are numerous companies that come for placement for chemical engineering like Shell, ExxonMobil, Reliance, Chain Oil and Gas, Adani etc. Above 95 percent of students got placed in my course. The highest package from my course is 25 LPA and the average is 7 LPA-8 LPA.
    Infrastructure: There is a wide variety of facilities offered by UPES like our library which has access to many good journals like Springer, Elsevier, etc. Wi-Fi is available around the campus and the reach is very good. I have been in a campus hostel for 3 years and overall it's a good experience.
    Faculty: The faculty members of UPES are mostly from IITs and they teach from the basics and also prepare you for higher studies. The pattern for exams is there. In mid-semester 50 percent of the syllabus comes and in the end-semester 100 percent syllabus comes, 20 percent mid-semester, 30 percent end-semester, and the rest is internals.

    Satisfied with the university and the infrastructure.
    Placements: Around 85-90 percent of students got placed. The highest package goes around 27 LPA. Top recruiters are Reliance, McKenzie, etc. I don't know the exact figure about the internship percentage of students. Roles offered include intern or after the placement, a graduate trainee.
    Infrastructure: Facilities are good but the lab equipment and environment are not that good. No quality of facilities is provided in the hostel, the food initially is good, but after 2-3 months it was the worst. The laundry services are very poor as the clothes get lost, and after many arguments with the warden and laundry men we get the 50 percent payment back. No good rooms, not cleaned washrooms, and the payment increases every year.
    Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. The pure theoretical doesn't mean to be properly industry-ready. Exams are slightly difficult as the internal weightage is 50 percent, 30 percent is end-semester, and 20 percent is of end-semester.
    Other: Interested in knowing about and wanted to discover the backstory and reason why things are made and their importance. If possible relate it more towards industry application and related theory to real industry problems. In the year 2025 lots of events happened but not in 2026.

    It is the best college in Dehradun and the most beautiful campus.
    Placements: Most of the students were successfully placed with leading companies in their field of study. Top recruiting companies include Deloitte, Cred, and L&T. There are also a lot of technical internships available to students, depending on the year of study.
    Infrastructure: Great labs for Civil Engineering, and the on-campus hostel is stunning. The facilities in the hostel are outstanding, with the warden being friendly too. The library of UPES is the show stealer, with its full of relevant books and a sitting area. The Wi-Fi is also great.
    Faculty: The most amazing part of this college is the experienced faculty, ready to help the students with everything. The course curriculum is very relevant, and the syllabus is up to date with new generation tech being integrated in the course. Semester exams are moderate, testing the real capability of students.

    The college offers a good experience for those who truly seek it.
    Placements: Most of the students in my course get placed. The highest package I have heard of is around 20 LPA. Companies like Verroc hire from my course. All students get internships, but only a few get ones relevant to their course. Most of them were in SR Wings.
    Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay. The library has a good collection. Wi-Fi is not the best but it works. The campus hostel has decent infrastructure, but the quality of mess and other facilities varies a lot during my time. The medical facility is good as long as it is available.
    Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified, with an exception of a few recent hires. The quality of the course is very relevant and up to date. Semester exams are challenging but not too difficult or like a punishment. The questions align well with what is taught.

    Facilities, faculty members, and infrastructure are very good.
    Placements: The placement opportunities are good, with very big companies coming for campus placements like Adani, etc. The average and lowest packages depend on the students’ hard work. Students also receive internship opportunities through the career services department.
    Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good with well-equipped labs and new technologies. The quality of food is good. The food court inside the campus offers a variety of cuisines.
    Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and have in-depth knowledge and expertise. The course outcomes are relevant and prepare us for the industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but it depends on the students’ preparation. Faculty members are well experienced and provide project opportunities as well.
    Other: It is a very interesting course but demands hard work.
