Life at UPES amidst the mountains.
Placements: 80% of students got placed. The highest package for core branches like mechanical and petroleum is around 50 LPA. The minimum package is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Tata, Mahindra, Reliance, and Airbus. Students at my college have to complete 3 internships at the end of every year. First, we have a social internship in NGOs for volunteer work. After the second year, we have to work as an intern at a startup. Lastly, the major internships are provided by college in companies like Tata and government agencies. Students can take internships on their own too.
Infrastructure: I live outside the hostel. But the facility and infrastructure of college are worth the fee, especially labs. Even the library is very well built. We have doctors available in the college for any medical aid. Regular sports events are held on both campuses of UPES.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members are very helpful and qualified. One can ask doubts outside the syllabus as faculty members are very friendly. A few can be exceptions. The course is regularly updated to cater the needs of the industry. Around 80% of students pass the exams. 50% of the paper is easy. 25% is tricky and the rest is tough.
Other: Mechanics as how machines work fascinated me so I chose this course. Matlab a matrix programming software is my favourite part of it. It can be a little more organised in its portals. Many events like Urja with celebrities like Darshan Rawal take place. We also have Garba and Sufi nights along with sports fests and RC racing.

Review of University of Petroleum and Energy studies.
Placements: The placements are conducted under the placements cell who brings good companies for campus recruitments. Even the placement teachers are very helpful to the students taking care of all the aspects which are needed for every individual student to get placed. They try to guide us to the right track for getting a job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is huge having a big library and sports grounds along with different labs for the students to get a hands on experience in practical knowledge. Not only this, we have a separate place where we can sit and chill with our friends.
Faculty: The faculty is very good, they try to focus on every child who tries to reach out to them for some assistance and help. They make sure that every child does something innovative. The course curriculum obviously has a lot of significance. The passing percentage is 60 percent.

Absolutely satisfied because of the services provided by the college.
Placements: The placement for the batch 2020 - 2024 is approximately 100 percent. The highest package of the batch is 48 Lakh per annum and the minimum package is 8 Lakhs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Royal Enfield, Suzuki, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure provided by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Dehradun are absolutely amazing. The rooms of the hostel are also up to the mark. The food provided in the hostel mess is excellent. There are 24/7 medical services available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of the faculty members is good enough. The course is curriculum relevant. The course in which we are studying definitely helps us for the industry. Exams are a little bit difficult but you can get passing marks in them.
Other: I chose this college because I had interest in automobile, how engines work and the engineering behind its functioning.

Awesome private university.
Placements: The placements at UPES are decent. About 95%, i.e., 370 students in the School of Advanced Engineering, were placed in the year 2022-23. The highest package being 33 LPA in the B.Tech School of Advanced Engineering courses and the average overall package being 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: UPES has top-notch infrastructure. Labs are having state-of-the-art technology and machinery. The classrooms are comfortable. It is suitable for teaching and learning. The multi-floored library is air-conditioned, and there is an air-conditioned multi-activity center with a gym.
Faculty: The School of Advanced Engineering faculty at UPES is amazing. The teachers here are highly qualified and very supportive too. They assist the students a lot in projects. Their teaching skills in their respective field are the best. Placements: At UPES, 1900+ students were placed in 2023, reflecting high placement rates. The highest package was 50 LPA for B.Tech. and 30 LPA for MBA. Top recruiters like Hyundai, Reliance, Maruti Suzuki, and other industry-leading companies show interest in our college.
Infrastructure: We have a nice multi-activity center that includes the gym and a large auditorium that can host 500 students at once. It is fully air-conditioned and also has a badminton court. Students have ample space to sit and hang out with friends. Classes are very well equipped with projectors and smart boards. Top-notch furniture, and our college has the best labs, which include all the essential equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-experienced industry experts in their own domains. The teaching quality is the best, and we also have full-time international faculty members. The course curriculum is very relevant to the domain, and students get the best exposure to industries, making them industry-ready. Faculty members help students learn smartly to encounter their exams very easily. The passing percentage is also very good.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering as my course because I have a keen interest in machines and learning about machinery and other manufacturing technology. The college has two major fests, one is Urja and the other a sports cultural fest, Spandan.

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies are pioneers of future proof education.
Placements: The placements at this university are unexpectedly promising since all the students who have sat before for their placement interviews have cleared it, and the 100% student placement record is actual and genuine. I have had my fair share of experience with what goes on inside their placement cell as an SPR, and it's absolutely incredible what they are doing for the students. Top companies such as Maruti Suzuki and Royal Enfield are regular recruiters for my core branch. It's not even the hiring season, and almost the whole batch is already set for their summer internships at top MNCs in India.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are being renovated and are completely futuristic with a complete focus on technology. They are equipped with the latest projectors, digital screens, and high-quality furniture designed solely for our comfort, which actually makes lectures more interesting.
Faculty: The curriculum is apt, and although I was not expecting the professors to be as active as I was told before engineering, surprisingly, the professors actually include project-based learning as normal and standard assignments for the students, which gives hands-on learning experience for us.

Our college is the best in all aspects.
Placements: Around 100% of students in our college are placed. The highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 5 LPA. Many companies visit our campus like Maruti Suzuki, Airbus, etc. Our college starts internships from the first year in NGO. For another two years, there are industrial internships in Maruti, Honda, etc.
Infrastructure: All facilities are provided in this college. Wi-Fi is enabled on campus. Classrooms are good and each classroom has a smart projector and smart machine for attendance. The library is available 24X7. The hostel is also good but the food quality is excellent.
Faculty: All faculty members are good and knowledgeable. They are well-qualified from IIT universities. All faculty members have done Ph.D., and they are familiar with students. So, students can score good marks. Our college is the best in academics.
