DU SOL Highlights 2025
SOL, DU was established in 1962. DUSOL is also recognised by the UGC. This is the first institution in the field of Distance Education in India. Moreover, SOLDU also has a South Study Center at South Moti Bagh, New Delhi. Campus of Open Learning Delhi University offers DU SOL courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. DU SOL courses are offered under 15 departments such as Management, Commerce, English, Hindi, History, Tamil, Economics, Urdu, Punjabi, Political Science, Sanskrit and Environmental Studies, among others.
DU SOL admissions are done based on merit for the UG courses. For PG courses, candidates are selected based on merit and entrance exam scores.
School of Open Learning, University of Delhi has established a placement cell for the benefit of its students. Talking about the DU SOL placement, according to the Shiksha students' reviews, the DU SOL highest package offered over the past few years was INR 30 LPA. The average package and lowest package stood at INR 8 LPA and INR 5 LPA, respectively.
