Good journey with this college.

Placements: 1) About 50 percent of students got placement offers from startup companies. 2) The highest package offered was INR 5 LPA, the lowest was INR 2.5 LPA, and the average package was INR 3.5 Lac per annum. 3) Zydra Biotech, Sun Pharma, and Alembic are the top companies that visited our campus. 4) Internship offers are very few. Only a few students, around 10 percent, got internship offers from startup companies like Cordlife Science Pvt. Ltd., Addii Biotech, etc. 5) The top roles offered were microbiologist, clinical technician, and chemical operator.

Infrastructure: 1) Our college's facilities were excellent, including Wi-Fi, labs, and libraries.They were all good, and the infrastructure of our college was awesome. It really looks very good. 2) The quality of facilities was average in our hostel, but the food quality was very hygienic on both the canteen and mess floor, the medical facilities were not good, and sports and games were limited in our college.

Faculty: 1) The teachers of our course were very helpful, even in personal matters, and they were well qualified in each of their subjects. The teaching quality was very effective. 2) Yes, the course was relevant, but the jobs are very few in this field because it requires very scientific research and knowledge to get a job in this field. No, it does not make students industry-ready. 3) Semester exams were not difficult to clear. They were all easy. Everyone can pass if they have gone through the teacher notes. The pass percentage was 50%.

Other: 1) I had to choose this course because I want to make my career in the medical field. The best part about this course is that it will be highly sought after in the future. 2) There is nothing to improve about this course. The course is conceptual and practical. 3) Join clubs, charity walk events, the campus crowd is really good, there is high connectivity in college, the campus surroundings are very awesome, scholarships are based on the students eligibility, and extracurricular activities like drama, dance, music, etc. are all organised on campus.

SUSCET, Tangori is one of the best for the bio-engineers.

Placements: There are 2 or 3 companies for biotech, and they give a monthly package of 15 to 18K. The faculty members and the labs are good, so you get an idea of the placements, as they guide you to the companies. The companies such as Oracle come here for the placement, and some pharma companies also come here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is good. We have playgrounds for games, and the hostels are also good. The labs and classrooms are well-furniture, and they provide a wide range of facilities. There is a doctor available from 2 to 7 pm for the student's aid, and there are cars in case of emergencies.

Faculty: Biotech is an interesting course, and the faculty members are good. They counsel in the bad times and support us and are well-educated, which makes studying easy. The other courses such as B.Tech, mechanical, civil, etc., are there and we have B.Sc. and M.Sc. in biotech. The other courses like B.Com, MCA, BCA, and many other such as MBA are there on the campus.

Other: Most of the departments are full, but biotech has the less crowd. Many fests, cultural events, freshers, and all are organised on the campus. There is function call panache. There is 24x7 Wi-Fi connectivity.

The college is small with the wired crowd and low placements.

Placements: The placements are difficult from SUS college because there are a few companies come to visit here. Last year, the highest package was six lacs per annum. Approximately, 50% of the students are being placed from this college. The companies like Wipro visit the campus to hire the students. The average package is two lacs per annum.

Infrastructure: The whole college is provided with the Wi-Fi facility, but the college is small. The labs and the classrooms are good. The library is small and has the limited books. The food in the canteen is not eatable, and sometimes it contains insects. The students are facing many problems regarding the food. The hostels are not well-maintained. During winters, even they don't have proper hot water facility. The sports and games are good in the college.

Faculty: The faculty members are bad in the college. They are not well-qualified and don't have the proper knowledge. Some of them have the knowledge, but they do not know the way to teach. The faculty do not behave properly with the students.They do not listen to their problems instead of understanding the problem they always scold them.

Other: The college is too small. The faculty members do not have the proper knowledge, and they are money-minded. They always think on their own. They do not understand the student's problem. The behaviour of HODs is rude. When you come to take the admission, they are polite, but after a month, they become rude.

Other: Shaheed Udham Singh College of Engineering is situated near Mohali. I have done B.tech in Biotechnology from here. It was a great experience to study in the college. They have given me opportunity to explore my talent along with the good academics. They provide one of the best lab practices in the nearby areas. The crowd of college is good as well. Campus infrastructure is one of the main attractions. Hostels are very neat and clean. It also provides bus services to the nearby areas. Faculty is also very good and interactive. This college has excellent placement. It was my fortune to study in such a good college.

Really good placement in 2017.

Placements: In the case of placements, college is good. As a biotechnology student at least I can say that college will provide you with the opportunity to sit in placement interview and then it depends upon you and your calibre how you gonna perform there so it will totally depend upon you.

Infrastructure: Our college has good campus and really good ground having 3 canteens and 1 Dhaba and medical facilities are quite good but in case of the mess there are some issues, as usual, a hostel mess has but the college is good.

Faculty: As a biotechnology student I must say that teachers are well qualified having good knowledge of their subjects and as well as very supportive and really good interaction with students and they give you good study material and help us in every part of our education.
