To get admission to BTech at Sharda University, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria, which is to pass Class 10 with 60% aggregate & Class 12 with a minimum of 60% to 70% aggregate (60% aggregate in PCM Computer Science/PCB for Biotechnology (without any gap between Class 10 & Class 12 and 50% aggregate in Maths). Sharda University BTech admission is entrance-based. Students need to qualify for either SUAT or JEE Main   (All India rank of up to 3 lakh) entrance exams with a valid score. The final selection is done based on the score of the respective entrance exam and the performance of candidates in the Personal Interview (PI) round. Those who apply via SUAT scores are required to appear for a PI round conducted at the School of Engineering Technology. Candidates who applied via JEE Main score are exmepted from both SUAT and PI round.

Sharda University is a UGC approved institution, and every school within the university is recognised by its respective regulatory body. CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.
