On Placements
Q:   What is the highest package for B.Sc students at Sharda School of Engineering and Technology?
A:

This college is not well known for its placement in BSC courses. B.Tech students got placed easily .

But, as far as I know, the highest package offered to a BSC nursing student is 4.5 LPA, while the  the lowest is 1.2 LPA.

In BSc mathematics, placement statistics are as follows :-

                                BSC MATHEMATICS STATISTICS (2022)
Average Salary INR 4.50 Lakh
the highest Salary INR 1 Crore
Median Salary INR 3 lakh

I hope this helps you.

Q:   Are B.Sc placements at Sharda School of Engineering and Technology good?
A:

It all depends on your capability and ability.

Placement is limited in this course.

Hardly 10-20% of students got placed every year.

The median package offered to students is around INR 5 LPA. Very few companies visit this college for placement in this course.

Sharda University reality.
Placements: Currently, I don't have too many ideas about placements. But as per the advertisements and stories of students, placements are quite good. If you maintain discipline and pay attention to extracurricular activities, you can have a good future for sure. Placements are good overall.
Infrastructure: The hostel bathrooms and toilet facilities are bad. But the classrooms are very good, fully spacious, and clean. However, classrooms don't have dustbins, which is the only flaw I found after joining. Hostellers don't prefer Sharda Hostel. They prefer hostels or PGs outside. Inside the hostel, there are also gym facilities.
Faculty: There are excellent exam patterns and helpful faculty members. The winter semester lasts for about 6 months, and the summer semester (January–March) is approximately the same, including exams, assignments, assessments, MSE, and end-semester exams. 75% attendance is very necessary. Except for this, everything is good.
Other: Campus life is pretty good. I'm enjoying it, and there is not too much pressure on students.

Review of my engineering degree.
Placements: Placements are good, and many companies visit the campus. If you work hard, you get placements. The college, being in the NCR, also provides good opportunities. Companies like Cognizant, Accenture, and 3 Meadows visit the campus. For internships, the majority of students get opportunities, but it is preferred that students find internships by themselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. Labs are good. I do not live in university hostel, so I stay nearby outside the university, which is convenient too. Wi-Fi connectivity and medical facilities are really good. Classrooms are good. We have both a departmental library and a central academic library.
Faculty: Teachers are great, although some may not be. It is better to interact with multiple professors to find the ones who suit you best. You find professors who support you emotionally, academically, and career-wise. Semester exams are manageable, and there is not much pressure. However, like most engineering students, many pull all-nighters before exams. I would suggest studying regularly in class, as it helps a lot.
Other: I chose this course because of the college life, fests, and also to stay away from home.

2nd best college in Greater Noida, but the best in terms of infrastructure.
Placements: 50 out of 1,200 students get placed on campus. Companies mostly have a 2-year bond with a 5 LPA package. That too comes with 4–6 months of training in Bangalore. Other than that, they post photos of off-campus placed students and don't mention that they get placed off campus.
Infrastructure: Washrooms are a mess, and ACs sometimes don't work. Wi-Fi mostly doesn't work. Jio network is the worst. Vi network is mostly unavailable in classes. Airtel is okay, but the speed isn't good. The library is the best part. I would say that when it comes to the infrastructure of the campus.
Faculty: The curriculum is old. Most faculty don't know how to teach. Many are lazy. The syllabus is not updated much. The updated subjects don't have good teachers, especially for AI and ML. My cloud faculty is good, though. They also make students prepare written files for the AI/ML practical lab.
Other: Events are good. The campus is good. The cafeteria is okay. The healthcare canteen is great.

Review of Sharda School of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: In the year 2024, 85 percent of students got placed. The highest package offered was 40 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 3 LPA. Infosys and many more companies visit the college for recruitment. Top roles offered in BCA (AI/ML) are data scientist, AI engineer, machine learning engineer, and data analyst.
Infrastructure: Our college has a fully Wi-Fi campus and well-maintained infrastructure for BCA/ BCA (AI/ML), and also for other students. It has well-structured labs with a high configuration system. Classrooms have AC. I will never see such a big library in my life. The canteen is okay. The food served is average, like all messes. The university organises sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable. The way they teach is excellent, and especially Khuswant Virdi, who is one of the favourite faculty members. The course is industry-ready as they are giving project base assignments. We have two mid-semester and one end-semester exam for 1 semester.
Other: Sharda University is providing specialization in BCA, like BCA (AL/ML), so I chose this course. Sharda organises an event (Chorus) every year, and this event is held for 3 days. It also organises a freshers' party for new students every year. There are students across 95 countries. Sharda is providing 100 percent scholarships for the top students.

My review of Sharda University, Noida.
Placements: Around 60 percent of students enrolled in the same course I chose i.e., BCA. The highest salary package offered this year was around 19 LPA and the average package offered IS around 6-7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered this year is around 4-5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for this course are ISCO, Airtel, and HCL.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in our department are very good with full AC classes including smart boards to study which works as whiteboards and PDFs. Videos are also played for better understanding. The hostel quality is very good and clean with big rooms. Mess food is decent, not that good. Canteen and medical facilities are better than other colleges because there is much stuff available for students.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, some of them have been teaching for more than 10+ years, and some are still studying for their Ph.D., which helps in better understanding the topics and in an easy way. Course curriculum is relevant to my course and it helps to get ready for the industry by giving practical and making a programme.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in computer technology. I want to learn more about technology with some specialisation which will help me real life problems and I can provide some values in my job. The thing that could be better in my course is explaining method of teachers. They are from very old schools and teach us very slow. Events, fest, and campus crowd are very good. But some students are not good in nature. They always try to fight with others and find a way to bunk the classes or fight with people.

My experience at Sharda offers a great campus and greater opportunities.
Placements: Around 77% of students get placed in my course. In the academic year 2025–26. The highest package is 1.6 crore, the lowest is 3.2 LPA, and the average package is 5–6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, HCL, Three Meadows, Samsung, and Garuda UAV. Around 60% of students get internships at companies like UBI, Amazon, OneBanc, etc. The top roles in my course include SDE, Business Analyst, Data Scientist, Front-End Developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is top-notch, and facilities like Wi-Fi, clean drinking water, and smartboards are available. Labs have MAC PCs, and the lab staff is cooperative. The classrooms have ACs and smartboards for fast learning. The library has a policy of giving books for 2 weeks without any charges. The hostels have laundry, mess, housekeeping services, emergency medical room, etc. The food quality in the hostel mess is decent, and 4 meals are provided. The campus has sports facilities like a basketball court, a huge football ground, a cricket ground, and various badminton courts. There is also a gym on campus.
Faculty: Professors are helpful and work diligently to get our research papers published. Most of them are from NITs, and some are from IITs. The course curriculum is regularly updated to match industry standards. There are soft skills training classes and DSA boot camps to make students industry-ready. The semester exams are of medium difficulty. The pass percentage is around 98%.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in Data Science and Statistics. One thing they can improve is providing more practical knowledge. For example, in computer network labs, they can show how to connect routers with switches.
