The review of SDIT in my own words.

Placements: Very good number of seniors were placed in various companies. The salaries offered are very different for all. Various companies related and non-related to the field came to the college. There is a group of people who are concerned with placement related issues. They are working to get more companies for placement.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The laboratory, classroom, medical facilities, sports and games etc., are provided. Very good quality of classrooms and laboratory are available in the college. The canteen with good food facilities is also available. The hostel rooms are also well-furnished.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Easy teaching methods are used. The course curriculum is very useful. The syllabus was covered in the good amount of time. Good behavior is available from most of the teachers and they have a friendly attitude.

Dissatisfied with the placements provided in 2016 and there are no sports facilities.

Placements: When I joined this college, our batch was the first batch of civil engineering branch. I think because of that we don't have any placement opportunities in the core field. The college mainly had placements in IT field. The highest salary offered in IT field was around Rs. 25000. The companies like Wipro, Infosys, BBM etc. visited the college for placements. Students were offered jobs such as tech support, programming roles etc. For IT students they offered high salary and stipend.

Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure facilities like labs for all branches with adequate facilities. The classrooms are good, and the library provides average facilities. Only table tennis is available and no other sports or grounds for other outdoor games. The quality of labs and classrooms they provide is good and are good facilities. The quality of the food in the canteen was average and not bad. The hostel rooms were not that good, but the fees in the hostel are high as it was Rs. 50,000 per year. The main infrastructure related issues we face was in civil engineering labs like geology lab.

Faculty: The faculty supports the students and were helpful, but they are not highly qualified and do not have much knowledge as they were mostly freshers in teaching. In some of the subjects mainly in civil engineering branch, the teaching methods are usual. We got many industrial visits, and most of them were helpful.

Other: The college does not support any other activities like sports, but there were many other cultural programmes they used to conduct in each semester. Other problems which we faced was, they take a penalty for simple things which the students cannot tolerate.

5 out of 10 as compared to other colleges.

Placements: Placements are very less here as compared to that of other colleges in Bangalore. If you want to study MBA or pharmacist then choose this college. Placements are very less for engineering students.

Infrastructure: View of the college is really good but inside of the college is bad. No Wi-Fi, average lab, classrooms are good for 1st year only, library is good, medical facilities, etc. Indoor games are very bad, there is just a small room with 2 carom boards and one chess board. My friends complain about the food quality of hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members are good in 1st year. They are available all the time. Course curriculum is of VTU of which lots of complains are going on nowadays.
