Overall, the campus is good.
Placements: They have good placements. Even the package ranges from 4.5 LPA to 7.5 LPA. Recruiting companies are Microsoft, Google, Capgemini, and Cognizant. College provides the training for interviews for 1 year itself, as software engineer, developer, and many more. The highest salary is 20 LPA, and the lowest salary is 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and water electricity 24X7 are provided. Cleaning is done on a daily basis. Overall, classrooms are good and have a big library at the college. The food is okay. There are 4-5 canteens even cafe and fruit stalls are there on campus. Hospital is available on campus.
Faculty: The staff is good. The semester exams are not that tough even a simple study can make you score 9 pointer. They run a student trading program from the first year to make students learn, build confidence, acquire knowledge, to talk confidently, and it's relevant.
Other: Category-wise scholarships are provided, and the festival is arranged to celebrate together. Dandiya night is arranged for final year. Farewell is held for first year and freshers are also organised. Sports events are organised. NSS activities are held on campus.

Placements: My branch is Computer Engineering. Gives good placements. The highest placement is 14.26 LPA and the average placement is 5 to 6 LPA. I am a first-year student. The average placement is 5 to 6 LPA. The highest placement is 28 LPA. This is in Germany, not in India. The lowest package is 3 LPA, but not in Computer Engineering or IT Engineering. The lowest package is in other branches.
Infrastructure: On my campus, there is old infrastructure. But the infrastructure is good. The campus has a sports complex and a canteen. In the sports complex, there is a manual ground for one like suppose, for football, we have 2 to 3 football grounds, and there are also other games like cricket. My campus is big and very good, and my branch has a special building on the campus and also labs.
Faculty: Faculty is very good.

College life is good but not satisfied by placement.
Placements: Placement is decent in SIT Lonavla, half of the students got placed bu mass recruiters like Accenture, Cognizant, etc. The average package is around 4 LPA-5 LPA, and no product-based company visits the college. There is a central college placement which means for every small work we have to go to Sinhgad Vadgaon.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, lots of facilities are available on college campus like a gym. There is reading hall for studying, you get a chance to see nature. Hostel room is big enough and mess food is average. There is a big playground and lots of sports facilities are available in college. There is a hospital for medical emergencies.
Faculty: SIT Lonavla is not an autonomous college so exams are conducted by SPPU. Some teachers are friendly, but not all.There are no strict rules for attendance, for first-year students everything is good like teachers and attendance, but afterward, it gets worse. College conducts prelims exam before end sem exam.
Other: Campus is big and beautiful, with lots of mountains and waterfalls near the college, so you get a chance to explore nature.

Review about SIT Lonavla.
Placements: 20-30% of students were placed in our college. The highest package of our college from the 2024 batch was 10.3 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. The average package is about 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies in our college are mostly mass recruiters like TCS, Accenture, etc. Yes, but package-wise, BNY Mellon, PTC, Nielsen, and Worldline were better companies. Not many students got internships; about 1-2% of students got internships. Companies like BNY Mellon hire interns and give PPOs. Top roles were Graduate Engineer Trainee, Associate Software Engineer, Associate System Engineer, etc. But yes, high-demand roles of developer and analyst were also provided.
Infrastructure: Facilities like gym, cafe, sports accessories as well as their grounds were available to students here. Yes, classrooms as well as hostels had Wi-Fi too. Hostel rooms were quite decent. 24-hour water service is provided, and there is no need to worry about electricity availability. The hostel food they provide is quite average in taste, but still, it depends on which mess you choose. The mess change process is held every month.
Faculty: Some teachers are too good. The way they teach is excellent. Yes, the main issue of the teaching faculty is late communication. They often inform submissions or critical information very late when it's about to end. Semester exams for the first and second years are tough as many subjects are quite complex if not studied well. The third year's first semester is quite tough as well as important, as subjects like DBMS, TOC, and computer networks are included here. After this, the remaining semesters are the easiest. One can easily increase the CGPA here. The passing percentage is about 35%.
Other: I always had to do something in applications and computer hardware. I chose the software field for this reason. The best things about my computer engineering are that it's easier to adapt and learn compared to other branches. Placements are higher here. This course should include practical skill-based exams or lectures which have final marks. Subjects like aptitude should be included, and crucial concepts of DSA and DBMS must be given more attention. Events and fests are good. The main event here is called Sinhgad Springs Festival (previously Sinhgad Karandak), which involves every branch college from different localities to arrange the event. All Sinhgad campuses come together to celebrate. Sports events are a treat to watch here. Scholarships are provided by the state government of Maharashtra.

If we like fresh air, then this college is good, otherwise, we must go with the affordable college.
Placements: In the current year, none of the students got placed. Around 20 to 30 students from the senior batch out of 400 have been placed. Many companies visit our college but lack proper guidance on how to approach placements, many students are unskilled and unaware of the placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not good. Wi-Fi is only available in the 1st and 2nd year student hostels, with 24-hour access in the reading hall. Classrooms are not well-maintained, they have old fans and benches. Food in the mess is not good, we may lose 10 kgs in our first year. There are 4 canteens, but none of them have tasty food. Campus has a big cricket ground, but they don't allow us to play on it. We can play other available sports. Medical facilities are average.
Faculty: Teachers are good, but they leave the college due to delayed salary for 7 to 8 months. College does not offer positions based on experience, but they offer higher positions if teachers hold higher degrees. Difficulty level of college exams is average.
Other: College need to remove all the subjects that are not relevant. Events organized by the college are not good.

Placements: The campus is good with a good environment. Around 85-90% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Deloitte, and Capgemini.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available in our college. It provides high-speed internet access throughout the campus including classrooms, labs, common areas, computer labs, and AIML data cloud computing labs. There are smart classrooms with projectors and sound systems. A good hostel facility is available. Rooms are well-ventilated and clean.
Faculty: Our faculty members are highly qualified. They are Ph.D. holders. They have significant experience in the academic. Their teaching methods combined theory and practical application ensuring conceptual clarity. The curriculum is updated regularly to align with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Other: I chose this course because athlete technology and problem-solving motivate me to personal computer science. The course offers diverse career opportunities in fields like software development, artificial intelligence, and data science. It aligns with my long-term goal of contributing to innovation in technology.

Review of SIT - Sinhgad Institute of Technology.
Placements: We required 80–90% above scores to get the B.E. in computer engineering. And the highest package is normal, like 6 LPA and the lowest package is 2-3 LPA in computer engineering. There are many companies but mostly in a computer engineering course.
Infrastructure: There are all facilities available in the hostel, including tables, hot water in the morning, a library, and Wi-Fi, among others.
And sports like playing cricket on big grounds and on campus, I like it. A canteen is available. The campus is very big and trees, plants and oxygen are high.
Faculty: Yes, teachers help students study and make learning easier to understand. Semesters 1 & 2 are hard because 3–4 subjects are hard. To pass the exam insem and endsem, you need 28 marks. A total of 10 subjects are in engineering.
Other: The campus is naturally beautiful. Sports events and other events are fun. Scholarships are available at this college.

Placements: As per the placement data, if the student placement percentage is 50% in 2024, placements are very bad. The highest package was ₹7.20 LPA, the lowest package is ₹2.20 LPA, and the average package is around ₹4.20 LPA. Top companies hiring for this academic session are Capgemini and TCS. The internship percentage is very low, as students have to arrange internships on their own; the college is not providing any internship opportunities to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good as it's established in 2008 and located in the hills of Lonavla, which looks beautiful in the monsoon. However, as the college is on a hill, students have to walk a considerable distance from the hostel to the college. The whole campus has Wi-Fi connectivity, and the campus features a large library and study hall where you can do self-study. The labs are not that good; sometimes you have to bring your own laptop for performing practicals. The hostels are decent, with options for 2, 3, or 4 sharing beds, including mess facilities. The mess food is average. SIT is very good in sports, with two large cricket grounds where you can practice and participate in various events and competitions.
Faculty: The teachers are not very experienced, although they are very helpful if you need something; they will answer your doubts. However, sometimes you have to prepare on your own because some faculty members lack the required subject knowledge. The curriculum of the course is up to the mark; it is designed in a proper way where the student can grasp all the concepts related to the computer science field. If you focus on more practical knowledge, it will definitely make you industry-ready. Regarding exams, SPPU is known for its exam scenes, as theory papers are quite easy compared to mathematics papers, which include very hard questions in mechanics and mathematics subjects. By understanding the concepts, one can easily pass the exams with a good 8 CGPA score.
Other: In terms of placement opportunities, the college is still lacking. Most students remain unplaced after participating in campus drives and preparing hard for them. The college should bring in some good companies with better intake for the students. Events are the best thing at Sinhgad; Sinhgad Fest and Carnival are two big fests that happen every year, twice. The entire Sinhgad crowd gathers in one ground, and they invite various big celebrities and DJs. As the college is located in the heart of Lonavla, on weekends you can plan outings with your friends to Mango Hill and Khandala Hill, which look beautiful in the monsoon. You will fall in love with the campus.
