No, SMIT Sikkim does not have any provision for direct admissions. The admission to SMIT courses is either merit-based or entrance-based. For merit-based courses, the institute shortlists candidates based on their merit secured in the qualifying exam. 

SMIT Sikkim accepts various national-level entrance exam scores to shortlist candidates for entrance-based courses. Also, SMIT conducts its own entrance exam for those who have not appeared for any national-level entrance exam.

Sikkim Manipal University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). It was established in 1995 in Gangtok, Sikkim. SMIT Manipal University offers BSc courses in various types, such as general, honours, research and integrated courses. Tezpur University mostly offers integrated BSc courses. The total number of seats offered in BSc courses at SMIT, Manipal University is 140, whereas 13 seats are offered at Tezpur University. Given below is the process to fill the MAT registration and application form: 1. Open official website of AIMA MAT 2. Enter Name, Phone Number, Email ID, Date of Birth and set a password 3. Click on submit 4. An OTP will be sent in the registered mobile number 5. Verify phone number using the OTP 6. New login will be sent in your email 7. Select exam mode, exam date and other details 8. Upload your passport size photo and signature 9. Select 5 MBA institutes of your preference 10. Pay the fee via debit/credit card or net banking 11. In the next page add personal details, academic details, address, etc. 12. Fill the remaining fields and the click on the declaration check box 13. Submit the form to complete the process.
