School of Technology PDEU three-year BSc and four-year BSc (Hons) programme at the UG level. Candidates can apply for BSc after completing Class 12. Below are the BSc/ BSc (Hons) specialisations offered at SOT:

SOT PDEU BSc curriculum is divided into semester-pattern. Aspirants are required to study core and elective subjects throughout the programme and apart from this, a number of seminars also take place throughout the programme.

SOT PDEU BSc course admission is entirely merit-based for the year 2024. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme are required to follow the SOT PDEU BSc admission process mentioned below:

STEP 1: Application Process 

Fill out the online SOT PDPU BSc application form. Given below is the step-wise application process:

Step 1.1: Fill out the online application form available on the PDEU website.

Step 1.2: Upload the colored scanned copies of certificates and testimonials as specified in the application form.

Step 1.3: Pay the non-refundable SOT PDEU BSc application fees of INR 700 through Internet Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card.

STEP 2: Selection Criteria 

Appear for the Personal Interview. The University prepares the merit list by including 75% weightage of theory marks of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology and, 25% weightage of PI. Out-state candidates may be allowed to appear for online PI.

STEP 3: Admission Confirmation and Seat Allotment

A single merit list is announced based on the Class 12 exams and the Personal Interview evaluation by the admission committee of the University and, the selected candidates are required to pay the PDPU fees for BSc which ranges between INR 3.6 Lacs and INR 60 lakh* depending upon the specialisation.

There are a total of 90 seats in SOT PDEU BSc programme. The intake is 30 for each BSc specialisations. The intake is subject to change at the discretion of the university. Candidates are offered seat in BSc based on their merit in the qualifying exam and performance in the personal interview round.

Candidates are first required to register for the programme of their choice at SOT PDEU. The school shortlists candidates for most of the courses based on entrance exam scores. SOT PDEU accepts JEE Main or GUJCET for BTech and GATE for M.Tech programmes. Non-GATE qualified candidates are selected based on qualifying exam score and PI round. Besides, SOT conducts written test for MSc and PhD programmes. For BSc admission, both merit and PI round is considered.
