IIT Roorkee announced the GATE 2025 result on March 19, 2025. To check the result, candidates will need to enter their GATE enrollment ID, registered email ID, and date of birth. The GATE exam is very prestigious among engineering and Science graduates. It is conducted every year by one of the IITs among the nine IITs. In 2024, IISc Bangalore conducted the GATE exam. The exam also opens various opportunities for engineering and Science graduates to work in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and in the field of research. IISc Bangalore will release the GATE 2024 scorecard on March 23. Candidates will be able to download their scorecard up to May 31 from the GATE 2024 official website. After May 31, candidates will need to pay INR 500 for downloading their scorecards. The facility to download GATE scorecard 2024 will be available up to December 31.
It is to be noted that the GATE exam scorecard is valid for three years following the announcement of the results. Also, the admission counselling for M.Tech courses will be conducted by the COAP for courses offered by IITs, and the CCMT will conduct admission counselling for M.Tech programs offered by NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and CFTIs.
Those candidates who will be eligible must attend GATE 2024 counselling as per the schedule. The counselling process includes registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat assignment, document verification, and other stages. SOT PDEU MTech 2025 FAQs
In case the candidate cancels his or her admission, the fee is refunded as per the below policy of SOT PDEU:
- If a candidate applies for cancellation of his/ her admission through email/ in-person, the fees
paid shall be refunded after deduction of INR 1,000 as administrative charges, only if such
vacated seat gets filled up the latest by the start of the semester. - Candidates shall be required to submit the original receipt of the fees paid for refund in the
prescribed form.
The total fee for SOT PDEU M.Tech is INR 3.25 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates need to pay the programme fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat in the unviersity. The total fee includes a refundable caution deposit of INR 10,000 and a refundable library deposit of INR 3,000. Apart from the programme fee, aspirants also need to pay an application fee in the start. The application fee is INR 700 for each programme.

SOT PDEU application forms are out in the month of January. Candidates applying for BTech admission at SOT PDEU can start applying from January. The application forms are usually open till end of May, therefore candidates can also apply once Class 12 or JEE Main results are announced.
