A college good for faculty and connectivity.
Placements: Around 50-60% of students get placements offered by the recruiters like ICIC, AON, Decathlon, Arcus Global etc. Which visits our campus to provide opportunities to students. Also, the college's placement cell is very good in terms of providing on campus and off campus placements. This year more than 100 students were placed by the cell in various companies like FIS, Royal Bank of Scotland, Inshorts etc.
Infrastructure: College is very small in terms of the area, it's not like the other colleges of DU. It consists of 5 well updated and well-equipped computer labs, one medical room, one library with the latest books and sources available, a small cafeteria which doesn't provide good food and free Wi-Fi availability for the students. The college is very neat and clean and maintained by the cleaning staff. It doesn't have a hostel facility as it is a very small college but it does have projectors in every classroom.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is good, it often helps the students. The teachers are well qualified and well experienced, though some teachers use orthodox methods of teaching, almost all the teachers prefer new and digital methods I. e. projectors for teaching.
Other: The college has different academic as well as cultural societies and even encourage students towards extracurricular activities. Campus crowd is quite helpful and the campus connectivity reaches its peak during fest time.

B.A. (Hons.) in History - Batch of 2016

College is satisfactory in terms of faculty and campus connectivity.
Placements: Placements here are good but are available for only a few courses, therefore, most of the students have to find placements outside the college. There are no placements for B.A. History Hons. In the college. College does have a placement cell which tries hard to get decent jobs for the students but students mostly prefer placements outside the college.
Infrastructure: College is not as big as other colleges of DU, but have five well-equipped computer labs; one fully air-conditioned library with resources available; classrooms with projectors fitted in it and a free Wi-Fi available for all. It doesn't have any ground for sports and has a small canteen with average quality of food.
Faculty: The teachers here are very cooperative, helpful, knowledgeable and well qualified. In terms of experience, the teachers have 10-12 years of experience, especially the teachers belonging to the history department. Teachers here often guides students and organizes meetings and seminars for the same. Our college's faculty comes under the best faculty of DU.
Other: College connectivity is awesome particularly at the time of the fests, it develops links between the students from different colleges. College is highly appreciated in the field of extracurricular activities and has different societies for dance, theatre, music etc.

My college, My review - A brief about the college.
Placements: Our college has a placement cell which does provide placements and internships but not for every course, it usually focuses on Commerce department. The cell helps and train students in building their Resume/CV and prepare them for interviews. The cell organizes an annual event called Embarkation which is an event in which a buffet of companies and startups visit our college and provide job opportunities for students. A placement drive is conducted by the recruiters like Phoenix, Royal Bank of Scotland, University 18, IBM, Housing. Com etc. Every year in our college campus, some of which provides the stipend approximately (2-3 lacs) per annum.
Infrastructure: College campus is not huge and vast, there is just a single building but with well-equipped computer labs which have updated software in all computers, projectors, LCD display panels and Braille Enabled computers, scanners, readers for visually impaired students; free Wi-Fi all over the college; has a divination room or Gurudwara Sahib, a medical room available with a doctor for any emergency, neat and clean classrooms with projectors, society rooms and air-conditioned seminar rooms and staff rooms for orientations and meetings. There is a small canteen with limited snacks and the food quality is average. There is no ground but there is a small garden. The best thing is the library which has a variety of books ranging from those related to the course, entrance exams etc. To the novels of various genres. The library is fully air-conditioned and has a student aid fund to lend books to needy students. The college also has an elevator for the disabled students. The whole infrastructure is very clean and well maintained by cleaning staff.
Faculty: Our college faculty consists of well-qualified teachers with several years of experience. They are quite helpful in the academic field. Once a week, a student teachers meeting is conducted especially for the first years to guide them further for the career options as per their course. Our teachers use other methods of teaching apart from books and readings like using projectors for powerpoint presentations which are available in all classes, field work teachings- like visiting the sites and monuments or some organisation. Teachers provide a deep insight and the greater knowledge of the particular subjects. There are seminars conducted by the faculty of each department twice a year for students from all the three years. Also, strict attendance is maintained by the teachers.
Other: The campus crowd is excellent, all students and teachers are very helpful. Our college's event management committee which is maintained by students does a fabulous work every year in conducting events especially the college fest in which students from all over DU assembles to take part in different competitions, their security is well maintained during the fest. Our college is one of those colleges who have lots of academic as well as cultural societies like Music, Dance, Theatre, Debating, Bhangra, NCC and Art and Crafts society etc. My college too has a sports society and a number of sports under it.

The faculty are good, but dissatisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: The college provides placement opportunities to the students of specific courses. The students of B.Com Honours and economic Honours are provided with many good placements. Otherwise, the placements are provided for the students of common subjects.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Food available in the canteen is not good. The college has various labs. No hostel facility is provided on the campus. Classrooms are well-maintained. There is no playground on the campus.
Faculty: The teachers in our college are helpful and well-qualified. They use advanced teaching methods for teaching. They have a vast amount of information. The course curriculum is very useful, and the faculty provide in-depth knowledge of the subjects to the students.
Other: The college has many societies that conduct numerous events and extracurricular activities on the campus. The fest is grandly organised in our college. The college arranges various scholarship schemes and quiz for students.

College campus is satisfactory both in terms of infrastructure and faculty, but less in placements.
Placements: Placements in our college are good enough. But they are more available for some selected courses such as B.com honours and B.A. business economics. Students of humanities stream get few opportunities. Companies such as Genpact, Rocksport, Ernst & Young and ICICI Prudential come for placements. However annual packages offered are not much good; they are expected to be 4 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The campus is not as much big as the other colleges in DU, but it is very much neat and clean. Classrooms are student friendly with digital projector being available in every room. Wi-Fi facility is also available in our college. Medical facilities are available with an experienced doctor. The college has a very good and air-conditioned library with a wide range of books. There are fully air-conditioned computer labs. There is a canteen, but it offers a limited range of food items. College does not provide any hostel facility.
Faculty: Faculty of the college are very good. Teachers here are well-educated and experienced. They are also very helpful in your assignments and projects. The best characteristic of this college is their faculty members. We got good academic exposure. Sometimes educational trips are also organised by the college. College does not offer any science courses. Humanities and commerce courses are available.
Other: The college has different societies such as NCC, NSS, dance, music and debate societies which help students to improve their skills. Scholarships are also provided to poor students. Campus crowd is very good and helpful. Location of college is good as it is connected to every part of the city. Events and fests are also organised annually.

Review of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College.
Placements: The placements provided by our college are good, mainly for some courses like B.Com, Hindi Patrakarita, B.Sc and some other courses. Companies like HCL, ICICI, TCS, Lodha, ITC, etc., visit the college to offer placements. At the time of admission, the management shows 100% placements in the prospectus, but it is not true in reality.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not huge like other colleges affiliated to Delhi University. The academic building is good. There are separate classrooms for all the branches. Classrooms are very comfortable, and also smart classes are available. The library is excellent with a huge collection of books. All the books are easily available. Air-conditioning facilities are provided. Wi-Fi facility is available in the whole campus. The canteen is average.
Faculty: The faculty are well-educated and experienced. Their behaviour is too good. They take classes on time and also notify the students if they are on leave. They play an important role in developing the students. Overall, the faculty are awesome.
Other: Events are conducted every month. Among all the events, Surlok event is very special. The college provides scholarships. The playground is not huge. Many societies like Vedanga, Nepathya, History and others are available. They also play an important role in a student's life for developing their skills and personality. Many quizzes and debates that are conducted in the college gave a lot of confidence to all the students who joined these societies.

Good infrastructure, 100% internships, scholarship for the needy students, helpful teachers.
Placements: Placements in our college are actually very good. Khalsa college provides great opportunities in reputed companies of India for the willing students. There is assurance of placements to the deserving candidates. Internships are provided in different fields like art, science, photography, drama and many more which further expand career options for students.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure is the key feature of Khalsa college. Well-maintained lab, garden, sports areas and medical facilities are available. A canteen is available which provides good food at affordable prices. An activity room is also provided, and a medical room is always available for students in case of an emergency.
Faculty: Teachers are very cooperative and helpful. They are always available for students. Teaching methods are different and more understandable. As history honours students, we also go to a historical place from college. So basically there is a lot of exposure for students.
Other: Scholarships are also provided to the needy students. Apart from it, there are many more interesting activities conducted in the college.

This college is the best in all aspects.
Placements: The college provides good placement programs for the students. However, this college is comparatively small regarding infrastructure but provides good placements. Around 4 to 5 lacs per annum is the average package for the students who got placed. Famous companies come here and take their selected students as interns.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is small, but everything is available in the college. Computer labs, library, medical facilities, games, auditorium, gym and much more things are available in this college. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. A big and new cafeteria will be constructed soon and also old cafeteria is still available for the students.
Faculty: However, I am from B.A. (Hons) History, so I'll tell you the experience of my course and interaction with teachers. Teachers are knowledgeable, qualified, helpful and moreover, they are friendly. They teach us good morals and provide motivation. Students enjoy studying when teachers start with debate and then entertain them with some real-life examples. I have many friends from another course. They also have good and friendly teachers.
Other: This college provides us various things other than studies. College offers extracurricular activities too as it has various active societies working under it. Some of them are NCC, Nepathya, Musoc, Megas, Impasto, Gatka Society, etc. Various events like Republic Day, Independence Day, Mini Surlok, games are conducted. Our main fest is organised in February which is Surlok. You will not get bored when you come to this fest. In this year, we invited Amrit Mann for the fest. Other facilities are also provided like scholarship facility, etc. Campus crowd is too good, they all are helpful, friendly and one important thing is that they act like family members.
