SMEAT Result 2026 - SMEAT will release the result for B.Des Round 1 on April 29, 2026, on the official website. Candidates can check their results now. The SMEAT exam is conducted in three rounds. The results of SMEAT 2026 will be declared separately for each round. The results for Round 2 for M Des will be out on June 17, 2026. The direct link to check the results will be provided here. To check your result, log in using your candidate credentials.

The SMEAT 2026 entrance exam (Round I) will be held in mid April, 2026. The scorecard of SMEAT 2026 will include details like sectional and overall scores, merit rank, and SMEAT 2026 qualifying status. The scores of the SMEAT 2026 entrance will be used to shortlist candidates for counselling.

A: 

SMEAT 2026 entrance exam result for Round 1 will be declared in last week of April 2026. The results will be declared online at admission portal of the institute. To check the results, candidates need to log in using their credentials.

Q:   Will the SMEAT exam be conducted offline or online?
A: 

SMEAT 2026 is expected to be conducted in an online mode in 10 cities. The exam will be conducted in multiple rounds.

SMEAT Result Criteria

Candidates will have to appear for the SMEAT test. Applicants must take Test 1 and Test 2, as well as a portfolio review (where applicable). These are conducted to shortlist aspirants for admission in programmes offered by Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology. Next, the candidates will need to check the SMEAT Test results. After the test is over, candidates will need to check the final results for Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology admissions.

Candidates who have cleared the UCEED and CEED exams are also eligible to apply for SMEAT admissions. The  SMEAT score is valid for admission only for one academic year. Thus, the SMEAT score will be valid only for the 2026-2027 academic session.

Q:   What is the SMEAT exam pattern?
A: 

SMEAT exam is conducted in two parts, Test 1 and Test 2. Both tests are mandatory. The duration of each test is 90 minutes and the total marks are 50 for each test.

Test 1 (T1) is a General Test of Ability and Test 2 (T2) is a Test of Creative Competencies. 

Q:   What is the last date to apply for SMEAT exam?
A: 

The application process for SMEAT 2025 is expected to OPEN in January 2025.

Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria can apply before the last date. The application link will be given on this page. 

Note that SMEAT applications are open in THREE rounds.

The application form for Round 2 will open once application closes for Round I.

Q:   Is the SMEAT exam easy?
A: 

According to students, SMEAT exam is in the range of average, which is neither too easy and nor too tough. The candidate, however, has to know the syllabus and its core subjects thoroughly in order to score well.

Candidates appearing for SMEAT can also appear in other popular private entrance exams like MITID DAT, Pearl Academy, and FDDI AIST.

There are then the top-tier entrance exams like NIFT, NID, and UCEED. 

Q:   Does Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology offer Diploma courses through SMEAT exam?
A: 

Yes, Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology offer one-year PG Diploma course. The PGDP programme allows the individual to choose among two course offerings, the Bridge and the Finish, each of which have been designed to align to different levels of learning.

The SMEAT 2025 exam for Round I will be conducted around the 1st week of April 2025. The application form will open in January 2025 (tentative).

Q:   What is SMEAT application fee?
A: 

The application fee for SMEAT exam is INR 5,000. Also, for every additonal course, the candidate has to pay another INR 1,000. The fee has to be paid online. In case the application fee isn't paid, the application form will be considered incomplete.

The application form for SMEAT 2025 will open for Round I in January 2025.

Note SMEAT 2025 admission will be conducted in multiple rounds.
