ISDI Challenge 2026 - The Application Form of the Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) is open. The application fee of Rs. 3,500 is non-refundable and non-transferable. The application form can be filled out online at - isdi.in/admission. Candidates meeting the ISDI Challenge 2026 criteria may apply before the last date. As part of the ISDI 2026 application process, candidates have to upload a Portfolio/Design Project.

The last date for Cycle II Portfolio/Design Project & DAT was December 15, 2025. ISDI Challenge 2026 Interview Date was on December 15, 2025 to January 16, 2026.

Established in 2013 in collaboration with Parsons School of Design at New York, ISDI offers admission to aspirants in design programs offered by it based on their performance in ISDI Challenge. Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) offers undergraduate, postgraduate, professional, and short-term programs in the field of design to aspirants. There are 360 seats on offer for admission based on an aspirant's performance in ISDI Challenge.

ISDI Challenge 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for ISDI Challenge varies as per the course for which aspirants have applied.

ISDI Challenge 2026 Eligibility Criteria for UG Programmes

Aspirants meet ISDI Challenge eligibility criteria for undergraduate courses if they are pursuing their Class 12 or have completed their 10+2 examination (IGCSE A levels, CBSE, HSC, IBDP, ISC etc.) or equivalent examination from any discipline, such as Science/ Commerce/ Arts.

Age Limit: The upper age limit to apply for UG course admissions at ISDI is 21 years at the time of applying.

ISDI Challenge 2026 Eligibility Criteria for PG Programmes

Candidates who are pursuing a graduation degree (from any university), or its educational equivalent in any discipline (e.g.: Science, Commerce, Arts) with an interest in Design & Innovation or Fashion are eligible to fill the application form for the PG course.

ISDI Challenge 2026 Eligibility Criteria for Professional Programmes

Aspirants meet ISDI Challenge eligibility criteria for professional courses if they have appeared for their 10+2 level examination (e.g. A levels, CBSE, HSC, IBDP, ISC etc), or an equivalent exam in any discipline (that is Science, Commerce, Arts) and also possess an interest in the field of Design & Innovation.

However, it is stated that the successful completion of the Class 12 level examination is mandatory to confirm admission. But candidates are also provided admission on a provisional basis if their final exam results have not been declared at the time of ISDI Challenge exam being conducted.

ISDI Admissions 2026: Eligibility Criteria for Fashion Styling

Aspirants meet ISDI Challenge eligibility criteria for professional courses if they have appeared for their 10+2 level examination (e.g. A levels, CBSE, HSC, IBDP, ISC etc), or an equivalent exam in any discipline (that is Science, Commerce, Arts) and also possess an interest in the field of Design & Innovation.

Candidates awaiting their 10+2 level exam results are also eligible to apply for admission at ISDI and such aspirants will be offered admission on a provisional basis.

ISDI Challenge Admission Process

The ISDI admission process for all the courses on offer is almost the same. The only difference is for professional programmes offered at the design colleges. In these professional courses, candidates do not need to take ISDI Challenge, they just need to appear for a personal interview round.

Step 1: Fill ISDI Challenge Application Form

Aspirants need to fill their ISDI Challenge application form along with SOP (statement of purpose) of 300 words on the official website of the college. In the application, form aspirants need to fill their personal details, communication/address details, academic qualifications and declaration. All the documents must be in a sealed envelope with the name of the candidate and application number. Candidates need to submit the envelope at the below-mentioned address:

Candidates can pay their ISDI application fee via means of a Demand Draft (DD). Mumbai based aspirants can also pay the application fee by Pay Order. The DD or Pay Order needs to be drawn in favour of “ISDI” and should be payable at Mumbai. The DD/Pay Order should be accompanied with a declaration form that is signed by the candidate as well as his/her parents/guardians.

Step 2: Get ISDI Challenge Admit Card

Candidates will be provided their ISDI Challenge admit card after they successfully submit their application fee and documents mentioned above. ISDI Challenge admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam centre. Along with the admit card candidates should also carry their original ID proof, portfolio (only for UG candidates), and curriculum vitae (only for PG candidates). 

Step 3: Take ISDI Challenge

The ISDI Challenge varies as per the course for which aspirants have applied for admission. For UG course admissions, aspirants have to submit an online portfolio whereas for the PG courses candidates need to submit a presentation/PDF slideshow as well as essay.

Step 4: Appear for Personal Interview

Next, candidates need to appear for the personal interview round.

The ISDI challenge 2026 result will be announced as per the dates mentioned above.

Q:   Who can appear in the ISDI Challenge exam interview?
A: 

The interview is the 2nd stage of the admission process conducted by the Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI). Candidates are shortlisted for the interview based on their performance in the Portfolio/Design Project & DAT.

The candidate must appear in all the stages of the design entrance exam. This means the final result will be prepared by giving weightage to the DAT and interview.

Q:   How can I check ISDI challenge results?
A: 

The result for ISDI Challenge 2025 is not declared on the official website of the design entrance exam but candidates are intimated about their performance in ISDI Challenge exam by means of an email.

The candidate can seek admission to the design programme on the basis of their results. Note that the allotment of seats will be on the merit based.

Q:   When will results of ISDI Challenge be announced?
A: 

The Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) declared results of ISDI Challenge 2026 for Current Cycle on January 27, 2026. To check results, candidate needs to log in to the result portal using their candidate credentials.

Scores of the ISDI Challenge 2026 exam will be used for counseling and seat allotment.

Q:   When was the interview held for ISDI challenge exam?
A: 

Interview for ISDI Challenge 2026 for the Current Cycle was held on January 16, 2026. Candidates were shortlisted for the interview based on their performance in Portfolio/Design Project & DAT.

Candidates are required to appear in all the stages of the ISDI Challenge exam. If a candidate skips the interview, he or she will not be considered for admission.

Q:   In how many phases is the ISDI Challenge exam conducted?
A: 

The Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) conducts the ISDI Challenge exam in three cycles. The admission process is currently ongoing for Early Cycle 1A and Early Cycle 1B.

Note that applications will open separately for each phase. The candidate can opt for any of the phases to appear in the ISDI Challenge exam.
