It is the best college to study.

Placements: Placements in this college are very good. Major companies are LNT, Wipro, TCS, etc., which are hiring students in placements. The minimum scored percentage is 65% and above. They provide bright opportunities for placements to all the students.

Infrastructure: Our college has excellent infrastructure. They have libraries to study and to refer notes to study. Wi-Fi is given to students for educational purposes. They have many playgrounds for players such as basketball courts, football courts, squash, etc.

Faculty: Our college has several courses and subjects. The way of teaching is excellent. Faculty members are friendly with all the students, and the way of education is also good. They use modern methods such as presentations for classes to study. It is the best college to study for students.

Other: It is a good college to study. They even provide scholarships for students.

This college is highly recommended and worthwhile.

Placements: Nearly 60% of the students were placed from our course and also got selected for internships in topmost companies. Various roles are assigned for students in completing this course. Hence many recruiting companies hire students from our course.

Infrastructure: A very good infrastructure is available on our campus. For our department, many required laboratories and machinery are available for students. There is a huge library with various books on different fields. Good quality of food is available in our college canteen.

Faculty: The faculty members of our college are friendly with students and are knowledgeable. Their quality of teaching is really good and excellent, and their teaching is easily understandable. This course curriculum is relevant to us, and also it made students industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course to become structural engineering, and also I have an interest in this course. Many scholarships are available for students for their financial assistance.

It is a good place to gain knowledge.

Placements: There are no core placements in this college. Service-based companies like TCS come to campus and select students. Other than that, many small companies also visit our campus. Accenture is the main company recruiting for non-voice process.

Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, and it is well maintained here. A mess is available within the hostel area. Wi-Fi facility is available in the hostel and campus. Both North Indian and South Indian foods are available. The laboratories are well-maintained.

Faculty: The syllabus is changed from Anna University since it is an autonomous institution. Some subjects are included as per the industry requirements. Design standards as per our Indian codes are correctly included in the syllabus in all departments. It is good.

You will have a thrilling and exciting experience and a lot of opportunities and great memories.

Placements: Placements play a vital role here, and students get placed in companies based on their capability and skill set, so it is very hard to determine placements here. But there are average placements this year. Almost 90% of the students from our college got placed. The placement cell in our college takes care of the placement process.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good here. Here you will get better living facilities, and the campus is also spread over a huge area. It is an enjoyable place for you. Classrooms are good, and they have all the necessary things. Our college hostel has Wi-Fi, and classrooms also have Wi-Fi. This campus is very neat and clean.

Faculty: Teachers here are helpful and well qualified. They will help us to understand the course in an easy way and good way. Professors use PPTs, videos, etc., to explain us apart from the traditional way. The course curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.

Review of SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Kanchipuram.

Placements: There are no campus placements in our college this year due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available only for laptops. Labs, classrooms and the library have good infrastructure. The library contains books of all local authors and foreign authors. There is also access to journals in the library. I am a day scholar, so I don't know about the hostel.

Faculty: Staff members here are knowledgeable and supportive. Their teaching quality is overall good. The course curriculum is updated and different from Anna University's course curriculum as our college is autonomous. Our college trains you to join the industry by providing implant training.

Other: I chose this course as I have an interest in designing structures.

Review of SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Kanchipuram.

Placements: Depending on the academic percentage of students, they get placed in good companies like Accenture, Wipro etc. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture and Wipro. About 75% of the students from our course got placed in companies which offered the highest salary package. The placements department supports students very well for placements.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, and it is very well-maintained. There are all the necessary shops, photocopy shops, a gym and many more facilities. The mess is available within the hostel area. Both South and North Indian food items are available. Wi-Fi facility is available in the college and hostel as well. The laboratories are highly equipped with all the needed equipment. It is a pleasant experience to study in this college.

Faculty: There are good staff members, and their teaching quality is very good. They try to understand and provide knowledge to students. Most of them have a doctorate, and they are very helpful at any time and in any manner needed.

Good teaching and training are provided by well-experienced faculty members here.

Placements: I had a good experience inside the campus. There are well-trained faculty members, so I had a good academic experience. It is easy to approach staff members regarding placements and to improve soft skills. It is easy to qualify in interviews, and many soft skills training programs are conducted for students to have benefit.

Infrastructure: Quality food is served in the canteen, and there is good infrastructure inside and outside of the college. Classrooms are clean, and it is easy to access the library and to download recent international research journals. Wi-Fi facility is available.

Faculty: There are well-experienced faculty members in our college, and the environment is good. Course materials were provided properly, and the teaching is good. It is easy to approach staff members and clear our doubts well at any time. Summer internships are mandatory for all students to gain industry experience.

There is a placement and training cell organised to provide soft skills training to the students.

Placements: Every year many IT companies recruit eligible students from various departments. It would be better if core companies are invited. There is a placement and training cell organised to provide soft skills training to the students. Separate class houses are assigned for the training purposes.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good with a pleasant environment. We are provided with spacious classrooms, laboratories, a well-organised library and good Wi-Fi facilities. The quality of food in college canteen is satisfactory and good at the hostel. Incase of emergency, immediate medical facilities are made available on the campus. Students are encouraged to participate in sports and other extra curricular activities.

Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and knowledgeable at their specialisation. They are friendly, very helpful and are available anytime to clear our doubts and guide us. The teaching methods are also appreciable. The course curriculum is relevant but it could be better to make students industry-ready.

Other: I chose structural engineering out of my own interest in this field. It is a most required field to shine in the design field. In our department, many technical workshops with excellent resource persons are conducted frequently. It's on the student's side to utilise the facilities provided by the college. Many In-plant training programs are provided. Students are encouraged to participate in many extracurricular activities conducted in the campus. Many events are organised to involve students to develop their skills. Scholarships are also provided for the eligible students.
