It has a good library and good infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our college are nice. Many companies are regularly attending the campus drive and select many students. The average package is almost starts from 4 LPA and the maximum package is 18 LPA. There are also more internships for students.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good library. It is famous for being the world's best library which is the shape of a globe with more than lakh books. The college has a good Wi-Fi connection for 24 hours. Classrooms are very good and good food is also available in the hostel.
Faculty: In our college, teachers are very supportive. It has a quality of teaching. 3 internals are conducted in a semester and one exam is in the final year. Students should score 20 marks in internals and 40 marks out of 100 in exams. It has a grade-based system and evolution is done digitally.
Other: The college arranges a fest yearly named Kaloshova. The campus crowd is good.

Inside story of Sri Siddhartha Institute Of Technology .
Placements: The placement in our college is not good; they don't bring the MNC companies. Also, I am a 2024 batch passout; they have only given the 2 IT sector companies in 2024, but they concentrate more on internships; they provide more opportunities to the students in internship criteria.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college is famous for it's Library infrastructure and it has a good campus as well as a greenish campus with multiple numbers of trees. Our college has 4 main park where students spend a good time with friends and it has a good canteen and cafeteria where food is also good. Our college has 2 boys hostels and 1 girls hostel. The hostel ambiance is good, and it has good food meals also.
Faculty: They provide good course curriculum; the subjects are also good; they provide well-knowledgeable courses; and they have good faculty members to teach; they teach us with real-time application concepts; they also train practical experiments; and they provide hands-on experience in lab sessions.
Other: Our college is famous for it's fest. Every month they conduct one fest, either a technical fest or a cultural fest. Our college has 2 cultural clubs and 3 technical clubs. The annual cultural fest will be conducted in the months of January and February. The fest name is Kalotsva. It will be conducted for 2 days where other colleges also compete and lastly, whichever club has won the most number of competitions, they will provide the trophy as club of the year.

I am somewhat satisfied with our college.
Placements: The placement team was inactive in providing the best options for students. The highest salary package offered was 3.15 LPA. TCS was the only company that came to the campus and provided a job to 67 students in total. Internships were not provided, and our college is very bad in the way it provided placements.
Infrastructure: Food was good, but cleanliness was something to be worried off. Wi-Fi, labs and classrooms were well-maintained. Medical facilities were available all the time inside the campus. Sports and games and gym were provided, but the equipment was old and risky to use.
Faculty: Teachers were the most liked ones and were knowledgeable. Few teachers were average, but counselors helped in getting the best out of them. They were always ready to provide feedback and also always patient in resolving doubts. Overall, it is good as most of the teachers were better.

I am satisfied with the course curriculum and good infrastructure.
Placements: The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like TCS, Cognizant, Westline, etc., visit our campus for placements. Students got an internship in electronic companies like Analog Devices, Semicode, etc. About 50% of the students from our course got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good compared to other colleges in Tumkur. It has one of the best libraries in Asia with the whole book world of knowledge. The canteen is good. It serves bakery items and good taste food. Sports and gym facilities are not up to the mark.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are knowledgeable, and they accompanied the students with the syllabus. They were helpful. They provide a wide range of materials for the understanding of the subject. They provide less practical knowledge compared to other colleges. Overall, the teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant.

I am satisfied with our college teachers and placements, but it needs to improve college timings.
Placements: About 75% of the students from our batch were placed, and most of them got placed in Tata Consultancy Services. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA and the average salary package offered was 3.2 LPA. Most of the students got placed during our batch, and some of the core companies like L&T will also visit here for placements. The top roles offered were software developer and network engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our college are well, and the infrastructure was the best. Our college has a digital library, and it is one of Asia's number 1 digital library. Our college has well-equipped labs with recent equipment, and all the classrooms are smart classrooms. There are 2 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls, and in the hostel, one room will be allotted to three students. Water facility and lighting are also good, and the quality of the food provided in the hostel is good. The hostel is hygienic, and the medical facilities provided by our college are good. Every student will be insurance primarily. Canteen facilities are also good, and the canteen will be open from 8 am to 8 pm. Many types of food items are available in the canteen, and the canteen staff members are also cooperative. In sports and games departments, there is a gym in our college which is free of cost for every student, and it will be open for 12 hours daily. All the sports facilities are available in our college.
Faculty: Lecturers here are well trained and experienced. They possess all the qualities and are very good and co-operative. They stay in college until students leave college. Moreover, they are highly knowledgeable, and there is a subject called field theory in which a professor named Bharath Kumar is the number one teacher for that subject in whole Tumakuru. The teaching quality of teachers is also good, and I will rate 4.5 out of 5 for teaching quality. The course curriculum is relevant, and it helps the students when they get into the industry.
Other: Most trending course in engineering was electronics and communication engineering, so I chose this course. The best things about this course were we can learn a lot of things, and surely get a job. Practical things in this course can be improved, which help the course. Events organised here are more like Kannada Rajyotsava, Kalotsava and other cultural like IEEE. The campus crowd is around 2,000 students, and the campus connectivity is good. The campus surroundings are clear and good. Scholarships are available based on caste. Extracurricular activities conducted here are good.

The library is awesome, and the surroundings of the campus are really good.
Placements: Companies like TCS, SLK, Go Speedy Go have visited campus. Around 50 students from the 2017-2018 batch were placed in TCS, and 10 students from 2018-19 batch were placed. The highest salary package offered was 3.3 LPA. We have a placement cell, and they train the students for the placements from the 6th semester.
Infrastructure: We have a very good Wi-Fi facility on our campus and the hostel. We have good labs, but the problem with labs is that most of the devices don't work properly. We have classrooms with sufficient lighting and are equipped with a fan and blackboard. Every year, the college organises sports competitions, and the students who are interested in sports practice the game of their interest.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified but not all the teachers are knowledgeable. Most of them find it difficult to explain the concepts even though they are knowledgeable at the subjects that they teach. The industrial exposure provided depending on the branch, and it is mandatory for the students to go for the industrial visit during our 5th semester.
Other: We conduct departmental fests, Kalostava, ethnic day and sports events. Our library is the centre of attraction, and it's a central library. The surroundings are full of greenery, and overall, the campus is nice.

I love my college. It gives a lot of freedom to explore and learn.
Placements: Only a few companies visit our campus for placements. No reputed company visit the campus for placements except TCS. Lack of quality of education in students might be the reason behind it. Almost 60% of the students from our senior batch were placed. Placement cell works hard for the students to make them placed.
Infrastructure: The campus is huge and green. The infrastructure of the college is not modern, but the greenery is maintained very well. A gym, sports department and a shuttle court are available on the campus. Sports are not much encouraged. Internal sports competitions are conducted, and only a few students participate in those events. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are two hostels. The taste of the food is average. Labs are good, but the equipment is old.
Faculty: Every good college or bad college has both very good teachers and bad teachers. Even that is the case with our college. A majority of the lecturers have completed their PhDs. A few teach the students to get practical knowledge, and a few faculty members focus on completing the syllabus. Students need to study on their own. However, lecturers are supportive and are ready to help always. PPTs are used only in the final years and only if the syllabus had to be completed quickly.
Other: SSIT organises a lot of events and fests. There are cultural groups, technical fests and many more. Scholarships are provided. There is a separate section that handles all these activities.

Students excel in Sri Siddhartha Institute of Technology (SSIT, Tumkur).
Placements: Till last year, TCS was the mass recruiter. As of now, some start-ups are visiting to hire skilled students. The average salary package offered was 4.2 LPA, and the highest was 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around 3.5 LPA. The percentage of placements is less as a majority of the students don't have basic criteria to apply for placements.
Infrastructure: Our campus is spread over 65 acres. The main attraction in our campus is our unique geodesic dome library which consists of 5,00,000 books approximately. We also have digital library through which you can access project papers and many books across the globe. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Students are restricted to use 10 GB/month. The college conducts NCC and NSS camps. The college also has a sports room, medical centre with trained doctors. A xerox centre, canteen, cafe junction, library, Syndicate bank, gym, IGNOU, labs, and a huge playground, etc., are available. Hostels are available on the campus, and they are well-maintained. The canteen is good.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified, experienced and knowledgeable. They're very friendly and helpful too. The way of teaching is good. Smart methods are used while teaching. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. Industrial visits are encouraged from the 3rd year. The course curriculum is completely based on the current requirements of the industry.
