It depends on what candidates mean by an Aviation professional. By far the easier and better job is that of a pilot. If candidates are young (aged 12-18), it is recommended that they pursue a general course of study. Take as many Maths and Science courses as possible. It may appear unusual to study Geography and Geology, but candidates would want to know what they are looking at.

The most common aviation degree programme is the Bachelor of Science in Aviation. This degree provides a broad understanding of the Aviation industry, covering topics such as aviation regulations, safety, management, and operations. Graduates with this degree can pursue careers as pilots, air traffic controllers, airport managers, and more.

Aviation in Hindi means "Vimaanan".  This means activities related to aircraft and aeroplanes. These activities are - Design, Production, and Operations. Aviation courses teach students about pilot training, aircraft maintenance, aviation management, in-flight services, ground staff, air traffic control and so on.

Aviation sector consists of three major parts: Flying : Pilots, co-pilots Service : Cabin crew Airport : huge number of jobs The major manpower required at supervisory level or above in Airports are, Airport Manager/Assistant Manager. Cargo Manager. Ground Staff Manager. Safety and Maintenance Manager. Human Resource managers Service managers Floor managers Facility managers Procurement / vendor management positions. The other jobs are in various departments like:

Street-side: Terminal building, concourse, circulating area, security hold area, immigration counters, customs counters, airport police station, airport medical center, food court, detention rooms (esp. At immigration areas), special security area, check in counters, ticketing windows, airport administration offices, airline offices, crew rest areas (between flights), wash rooms, prayer areas, lounges including VIP lounge and felicitation areas, some modern airports also have a spa, currency exchange, hotel booking and car hire counters, arrivals area, departures area, transit passengers area, transit counters etc.

Duty free shops area, inside-airport service vehicles area for police, ambulance, emergency services as well as buggies for old/ infirm or pregnant passengers and charging points for these electric vehicles, terminal maintenance offices- for minor repairs and housekeeping, pilots and air crew briefing rooms, boarding gates Air side: loading ramp, parking bay, aero-bridges, hangars, aircraft maintenance areas, runway maintenance areas, aircraft fuel dump/ tanks, material handling equipment (loading and unloading tractors etc. ), ladders and baggage loading vehicles parking areas, push back trolley area, security areas especially near baggage loading areas, aircraft re-stocking areas (food, laundry etc. ).

The trucks which come in from flight catering will wait till they can go right up to the aircraft, aircraft stabling areas, fire fighting equipment- usually a fire station with two or three fire engines on standby, runway management offices, aircraft guidance vehicles parking areas, remote bay, isolation bay (to isolate aircraft with reported bomb threat etc. ), Air Traffic Control (ATC) offices and control tower So you can SEE immense number of positions and departments in Aviation field, You must chose the college/university wisely.
