Review about Yenepoya College.
Placements: I am currently studying for BCA at Yenepoya College, and I'm now in my 2nd year from the 2023 batch. Our college offers a variety of courses and placement options for candidates. The faculty also helps students achieve their desired jobs.
Infrastructure: The college has a hostel facility for its students, and compared to other colleges, it is much better in terms of infrastructure and the food provided. The hostel is very disciplined, and those who work there are friendly towards students.
Faculty: The BCA course I am currently studying has 6 semesters over 3 years, with 2 internal exams and 1 semester exam during each semester. The final exam is for 70 marks, and with total CIA marks, the total will be 100. There is also a strict attendance policy.

I am satisfied with the college's overall infrastructure and the overall offerings provided.
Placements: There is a 70% placement rate, and assurance depends on the academics of the student, attendance, and disciplinary records of the students studying at the university. Placement training is provided by TCS and IBM through the college for the students.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are top-notch, as classrooms and washrooms are always neat and tidy, with air-conditioned classrooms. Labs are all equipped with the necessary resources for the course, providing students with a better experience and proper guidance.
Faculty: The teachers, faculty, and lecturers at the university are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They teach very effectively and are friendly with the students, using more interactive methods. The exams are up to par, making it easy to score well if studied properly and fairly.

Good facilities and light syllabus.
Placements: More than 200 students are placed. My course has both IBM and TCS. Every year, 20 students have the campus placement. And there are many internship programs conducted in our college; it is not that much expensive and it's a good experience. Also, we have different workshops.
Infrastructure: Our college has good facilities, like a good and clean environment and there are small libraries that don't have that many books but still have good facilities. The bathrooms are cleaned every hour. The hostel has good accommodation. Every room has its own bathroom, and there is a pack for 2 to 8 students. There is AC in every room, and it's cleaned every day. The cafeteria is good with hygienic food and the wardens are good. There is a private gym and ground and good rules to follow.
Faculty: Faculty in this college is average because some of them are beginners and they didn't trained that much and are also not very experienced. Faculty members, some of them friendly and others are not and the curriculum is not good it's really simple syllabus, not advanced; any average students can score more than 90% and it's not making students for industrial jobs; we need to learn ourselves. Semester exam are very simple; any students that study before the exam day can pass easily. Pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose the course because it has a higher scope for the job and the IT field is one of the fastest-growing. And the best thing about the course is that it has great potential. I wish the course needed to improve more syllabus and it needed to be more practical other than theory. There are at least 3 programs conducted on every semester, and it's really fun but compared to other colleges here, programs and extracurricular activities or events are less.

College life, golden life to enjoy.
Placements: 80% of students in our batch have been placed, which is a commendable percentage for the BCA course. Top recruiting companies include IBM, offering a good range of opportunities for graduates. Around 60% of students have secured internships. The top roles offered in this course include positions in web development, cloud computing, and security.
Infrastructure: Our college boasts a huge infrastructure and one of the best campuses. Each classroom is equipped with air conditioning, and the labs are well-furnished with a large number of computers. The campus also provides Wi-Fi facilities and good food options. There’s a canteen with a variety of dishes and a medical facility available for emergencies. When it comes to sports, we have amenities for football, kabaddi, and many other games, providing students with opportunities for physical activities.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Many faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees, ensuring that we receive a quality education that can help us develop our skills for the future. The BCA course curriculum is structured to cover all essential areas, and exams are conducted every six semesters over the three-year duration of the program. However, the exams are quite challenging, requiring thorough preparation.
Other: I chose this course because I want to develop my skills in computer science and build a successful career as a web developer or software engineer. These are the areas I am passionate about and see as my future.

Summary of the college would be: It is a good college, but I won't recommend you to join.
Placements: A quiet number of students have been placed in good companies regardless of their streams. The highest package given by our college would be around 13-15 LPA. Our top recruiting companies are Microsoft, IBM, and Tata Ions. Roles are data analyst and mainly software engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is currently good, but anything can happen at any time. Lifts and all are there, but we can't use it; it's only for teachers and disabled students. Every classroom has air conditioning, and every classroom has a smart TV.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are friendly, but there are exceptions among the teachers. They help us in our need times. They provide a question bank just before the exam. They don't want pace; they want problems. Semester exams are moderate, and we can pass the exam easily.
