All the exams are easy to pass.

Placements: Students in the last semester of their course are eligible for campus placement. The university has a separate placement cell for securing placements with various companies. A majority of students secure placements in prestigious companies with an average package of 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college provides hostel facilities with food for needy students. Rooms are shared by three members and equipped with three beds, a wardrobe, and a detached bathroom. Water facilities are available without interruption. The college offers normal-quality food with options in both North Indian and South Indian flavors. The hostel fee is INR 30,000 per year.

Faculty: The college offers M.Sc. Zoology with a specialization in medical microbiology, providing students with the opportunity to specialize in the field of microbiology. The class strength is around 30-35, with a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:8. Faculty members are highly qualified with Ph.D., M.Phil., or Masters degrees in the field of biology. They are supportive of both in-class activities and extracurricular events. Term or semester exams are conducted on fixed dates. Although the syllabus is vast, students who follow the class lectures will find it not so difficult to pass the exams.

Review of St. Aloysius College, Thrissur.

Placements: I am expecting much better guidance in placements and looking for some other better companies for partnering with the college. The packages are not so highly enough, while considering the college campus is the only way to start our career. Even the highest package would be below 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: All classrooms have continuous power connectivity, and they are spacious and fully ventilated with air. The main objective of the college is to reach good standards with a lot of recognition. So, only eligible students are allowed admission into the college.

Faculty: There should be a particular staff member assigned for every subject. They should not ask teachers to handle any of the subjects. Teachers gives more importance to the grading systems of the students rather than the placement percentage.

Review of St. Aloysius College.

Placements: The placement and job opportunities in this field are enormous. Jobs are available in both the government and private sectors with high salary packages. The college provides on-campus recruitment facilities. The college also provides placement training for the screening process. There are no internships for M.Sc. courses. For M.Tech courses, they provide an Internship as per government rules, with a stipend of Rs.18,000 per month. I didn't get any internship, but the college is good.

Infrastructure: Hostels are available within walking distance. The food and facilities provided for students are good. Inter-hostel tournaments are played every year. Hostels are clean and maintained in good condition. Wi-Fi is also provided by the campus to students, so they can study and improve themselves.

Faculty: Faculty members have all the qualities. Teachers and students share a great bond. It tells the faculty members that no more words need to be explained. Students can contact teachers whenever they want. They can ask questions or share their worries. Teachers are really helpful to the students. Exams are scheduled twice a year. It is semester-wise, so January and June are the months in which exams are conducted. There are 5 main subjects, of which 4 are compulsory and the remaining one is optional. The course is highly focused on research. The curriculum aims to provide advanced knowledge in the respective field with a combination of case studies, practice, etc. Exams are application-based and test the critical thinking ability of students.
