I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Our seniors got placed in good corporate companies, but few got placed in core automobile companies. Companies offer good and decent packages, which I got to know from my senior. To achieve a good package, a student must have proper skills to offer to the companies so that the company can get a benefit.
Infrastructure: Our college provides a Wi-Fi facility on our campus. Even in this pandemic situation, the library offers a book to us to learn through those books. The food served in the canteen is good, hygienic and of good quality. Our college does have a good lab, and the automobile lab is good with all types of machines and equipment. The mechanical lab has new, sturdy machines and tools to perform different kinds of experiments.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good, and they help in every scenario. Their teaching quality is good. Faculty members demonstrate everything brilliantly.
Other: I have chosen this course because I always wanted to know how machines and automobiles work. I wanted to know all the automotive developments worldwide and learn all the new techniques and innovate someday. Our college organises sports events, but during this pandemic situation, the sports event is not organised. Virtual cultural programmes are organised where many students participate. Virtual programmes are good. Co-curricular activities are important to enhance the art and maintain peace during this pandemic situation.

It is one of the best private engineering colleges.
Placements: The placement record is very good. Companies like Amazon, Wipro, Capgemini, Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, Byju's and 24/7 Software visit our college to hire students. One of my seniors got a salary package of 8 LPA by Byju's. Our college has an association with Internshala, the NPTEL chapter and AICTE TULIP, so it will be beneficial for doing internships.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very beautiful and green campus. Wi-Fi facility is available everywhere. The campus is ragging free. Our college has a special cell to prevent all sorts of unethical activities. The hostel rooms are comfortable for accommodation. The quality of the food served in the canteen is good.
Faculty: Professors in our college are highly qualified. They also have industrial experience. They teach us with a lot of care and attention. They regularly organise special classes for clearing our doubts. They put equal emphasis on theoretical as well as practical learning. Their innovative method of teaching and hands-on practical learning makes us industry-ready. In each semester, two intern slot tests are conducted. They don't teach beyond the syllabus.
Other: I have chosen this course because I was always fascinated by machines. When I came to know that our college has the best automobile workshops in the entire West Bengal, I immediately grabbed the opportunity. I got admission through WBJEE's e-counselling. In order to facilitate the overall development of students, sports and cultural activities are organised annually. The tech fest named Manthan is organised in April. It is the best college for B.Tech in automobile engineering.
Placements: Every year almost 60%-70% of the students get placed from our campus with good salary jobs in well-known companies. In the placements, the salary packages offered are good. Companies like Byju's, TCS, Wipro, Hyundai, Bosch, Ashok Leyland and many more visit our college for placements.
Infrastructure: There is an ample number of study materials, which include books and E-books. Labs are well-equipped with good apparatus which are maintained properly. Since there is a sports word in our college name only, so sports and games are encouraged in our college. Regular annual sports and curriculum classes are held.
Faculty: The teachers and mentors here are very helpful. Even in the pandemic situation, they are trying their best to teach us through online classes. Teachers are well qualified, and the mentors always support us to thrive in other curricular activities rather than only mugging up the course syllabus.

A very good college with good infrastructure, faculty and facilities.
Placements: Though students become eligible based on their performance, and the students are eligible for campus placements in their 4th year, which is the final year. Our college has tie-ups with many companies to offer placements. Companies like Hyundai, Ashok Leyland, BYJU's, Wipro, Ford, Capgemini, etc., come here. I have a plan of being placed in a reputed automotive firm as of my stream.
Infrastructure: Our college has a well-stocked library with Lacs of books to offer. Our college has a well-maintained infrastructure, with big classrooms, well-equipped laboratories for every stream, and also, we have a sports complex with indoor and outdoor stadiums. It also has a well-facilitated canteen with lots of food items to eat.
Faculty: I chose automobile engineering because, since my childhood, I had dreamt of becoming it. I also heard about this college, its infrastructure, the laboratories, the well-educated and supporting faculty members, which attracted me to join this college in a particular automobile stream. The faculty members are helpful and supportive, and they make the topic so clear to understand so we can give our exams very well.
Other: It has a nominal fee structure according to the kind of stream we choose. There is no such hike in fees structure as well. Many companies and industries are bound with it, which makes or motivates the students to participate in certain programs organised by certain industries. Our college organizes freshers programs, technical fest, and cultural fest every year to encourage the students in every possible way.

There is a clean environment along with friendly faculty members.
Placements: Almost 80% of the students are placed every year. Top recruiting companies like Tata, Mahindra, Bosch and many other companies visit our college for placements. Almost every student get an internship, and there are plenty of companies for the internship. Roles like industrial development, engineer and designer are offered to the students.
Infrastructure: There are labs for every course. Labs are very clean and well-maintained by the faculty members. There is also a free Wi-Fi system. There are two common rooms and a library to play and to discuss topics. There is a canteen inside the college campus and a medical room for medical issues.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very friendly and very skilled. Their teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes the students ready for the industry. Lessons taught by the faculty make it easy to pass the exams. They provide notes and assignments to gain more knowledge.
Other: When I was young, I used to play with toy cars, and since then, I was curious to learn about vehicles, so I have chosen this course. Our college organises many events like tech fest, freshers programme and many more events throughout the year.

It is a perfect college with the best faculty members.
Placements: 80% of students got placed in our course. According to the companies and vacancies, the packages are offered. TATA AIG, BYJU'S, Hyundai and many others come here. Recently, two of my seniors got internships in BYJU's for 8 LPA. Senior engineer and executive engineer (trainee) roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The total college building is enabled with Wi-Fi of nominal speed. Labs are loaded with equipment and machines. Classrooms are neat and clean, with a seating capacity of more than 60 students. Our college library is really spacious and has a lot of books even apart from the regular syllabus books. Presently, E-Books have been provided to us for study purposes. JIS even conducted a book distribution ceremony called Library on wheels during the pandemic to distribute books physically. Every necessity is provided in the hostel with proper cleanliness. The food quality is light and healthy. There is a medical room where the sick or injured students can be treated. Our college has our own football and cricket teams, and volleyball and badminton are also entertained.
Faculty: The professors are highly qualified and teach with really good care. This course makes the students industry-ready with both the on-site and official works. If we follow the study process as directed by our faculty members, then the exam papers can be easily solved. The pass percentage of our college is 95%.
Other: I was always an automotive enthusiast and wanted to know, develop and grow more along with this sector. Thus, I choose automobile engineering as my career. Sur Institute of Technology and Sports Complex is a really renowned and one of the best private institutes. As a student of this college, I have experienced this much often. The annual tech fest called Manthan is conducted in March. Even in this situation, the tech fest is held in the virtual mode. The annual cultural fest is conducted in April, just after the tech fest. Presently, a lot of cultural activities are going on in the virtual mode.

In this college, you can have success.
Placements: From our course, nearly about 75%-80% of students got placed. Recently two of our seniors got a salary package of 8 LPA in Byju's. Many companies like Hyundai, etc., visit our college, and also our college is tied up with Hyundai. Other companies which visit our college are Tata AIG, Toujours Peritus, Repos Energy and Chegg India. Our college provides various internships. This week, we have applied for a Pune based design company named Elation for internships.
Infrastructure: Our college library is really huge and spacious, and a lot of books are available apart from our syllabus. Presently, E-books have been provided to us from our library for study. Last year in the pandemic situation, JIS conducted a book distribution ceremony named library on wheels to distribute books physically. Our college provided free Wi-Fi for us, and the classrooms are great. A huge stadium is located on our campus.
Faculty: The professors here are highly qualified, and they teach really good. They always help us with any kind of project activity and give suggestions to us. Exams are conducted often. As JIS Group own the LMS portal, the internal exams are now conducted on a regular basis. The slot tests are conducted twice a semester.
Other: I was always an automotive enthusiast, so I chose this course. In our college, the automobile engineering laboratory is one of the best compared to other automobile engineering colleges available in West Bengal. An annual tech fest named Manthan is organised, and a cultural fest is organised in the month of March.

Placements: The recruitment process is quite good. Tata, Toyota, Skoda, and many more are the recruiting companies for our course. Top roles offered in our course are designing, manufacturing process, PDA department and etc. Many students are placed in our course.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are good as labs are equipped with many machines and technologies. The entire college is Wi-Fi enabled, and halls are supported with smart boards which help students to understand a topic quickly. The quality of food is quite good and at affordable rates.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are quite good and very friendly. They help us in every aspect. Their teaching quality is excellent which cannot be compared with any other college. The semester exams are difficult, but the way our faculty teaches us makes us ready for semester exams easily.
