For admission to MBA at Suryadatta Institute of Management and Mass Communication, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. Admission to MBA at Suryadatta College is entrance-based. Suryadatta Institute of Management & Mass Communication offers a two-year PGDM course, which is a full-time course approved by AICTE. This course is offered across a total of two specialisations. These are Marketing and Finance. At SIMMC, Marketing specialisation is offered with open electives in Finance, while Finance specialisation is offered with open electives in Marketing. Aspirants can get admission to the specialisation of their choice by qualifying entrance exams such as CAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ GMAT with a valid a valid score, followed by GD/PI round. 

In order to get admission to MBA course at Suryadatta College, students need to fuflil the minimum eligibility criteria i.e., to pass graduation with 50% aggregate in the respective subjects (45% aggregate for reserved category). Admission to MBA at Suryadatta College is entrance-based. Students need to qualify for either CAT/ CMAT/ MAH MBA CET exams with a valid score, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. The MAH MBA CET 2025 exam date announcement was done on November 27, 2024 The Maharashtra State CET Cell announced the exam date on its official website mahacet.org. The exam dates were announced as March 17, 18 and 19, 2025. But the dates have been revised as April 1, 2 and 3, 2025.

There will be six sessions. Two sessions per day. In 2024, the MAH CET exam was conducted on March 9, 10 and 11, 2024.

The exam slot and session will be allotted to candidates by the examination body and no changes will be allowed.

Suryadatta College offers MBA and PGDM courses which are approved by the Ministry of Government and AICTE. The institute offers MBA course across the top five major and nine minor specialisations in the field of Management. As per the NIRF report 2023, a total of 157 students of PG (2-year) programme were placed. Further, the median package offered was INR 5.96 LPA.
