Don't join this college, otherwise you will regret it for a lifetime too.
Placements: College's placement is a total scam. There is full drama during admission with big talks and fake statements. In the end, not even a single decent company shows up. The placement cell is just sitting there doing nothing wasting students' careers like it's a joke. It's a pure fraud factor.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very poor, my house is even bigger than the college campus. I'm ashamed to even give it 1 star. Everything you see in this college is useless. The college has neither its own ground nor any parking space. It doesn't have a campus to conduct any college fest.
Faculty: Teaching quality is absolutely pathetic. Most of the teachers are either unqualified, disinterested, or simply read from slides without any real knowledge. There's zero interaction, no practical exposure, and the faculty simply doesn't care about students' learning.
Other: If you want to ruin your career, then go ahead and join this college. Just like me, after graduating, it will be the worst decision of your life too.

I'm dissatisfied with poor placements. Teachers are not at all supportive with 0 time management.
Placements: At the joining time, they told us about companies like Wipro and TCS, but to date companies like Flurys have come to the company with Rs. 9000 monthly salary. 169 students joined for BBA half of them left at the beginning. 10% of students got job placement. Companies are looking for sales intern.
Infrastructure: The college campus is very small without any ground. Classrooms are okay and it has a small area where all events are held. Canteen where a coffee machines is only for show the food is very poor. I never recommend anyone this college. The worst college ever.
Faculty: Teachers are not at all helpful except one or two. It feels like we came to another school they are not at all friendly they make fun of the students and leg pulling. They insults students in front of everyone apart from this they teach very well they are quite knowledgeable.
Other: Events and fests are okay but management is very poor. College area is very poor it feels like we came to a village the road in front of the college is very poor.

The reasons for choosing Swami Vivekananda Institute of Modern Science.
Placements: 100% of the students of our course in our college got placed. The lowest salary offered to them is Rs. 15,000 per month, the average salary is Rs. 20,000 per month, and the highest salary offered to them is Rs. 25,000 per month. Top recruiting companies of our course are Gillette, TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Sun Knowledge. 95% of students got internships from our college in Godrej, IBM, and Starbucks. The top roles offered in BBA are team leader, quality manager, and operation manager.
Infrastructure: In our college there are facilities for free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned classrooms. Library is available and books are available and well-maintained laboratories with expert guides. Our hostel infrastructure is so good and well-maintained and well-clean, the quality of food is just awesome. There is also medical facilities in college and hostel.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are highly knowledgeable and very helpful. Their teaching quality is so good and easy to understand. This course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams at the college are a little bit difficult but as the teachers teach us so good, for that we can write easily in exam hall. You have to score minimum 40 out of 100 to pass in a subject.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to study business and be industry-ready. The best thing about this course is it teaches you to survive in the market, win in a competition and many more things. This course is already at the next level in our college so there is nothing to improve. It's already improved in SVIMS. Also, our college organizes many events for the refreshment of students like orientation, fest, fresher, farewell, etc.

College is budget friendly and not bad.
Placements: 60% of students are placed from our college and the highest package is around Rs. 18,000 and the lowest is around Rs. 10,000. Top companies like Amazon, TCS, Sun Knowledge, etc., come for campus recruitment and 1 or 2 students get internships and top roles offered by the company are telecaller or sales executive.
Infrastructure: There's no hostel facility available in our college. There's a computer lab. All classrooms have AC and are ventilated there's also a library for semester books but there's no Wi-Fi facility. The quality of canteen food is average or below average. There are no particular medical facilities but there's a music room and gym room where the gym is available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, supportive, and well-qualified and the exam conducting system is very strict and the pass percentage is 40%. The curriculum is circulated by the MAKAUT and the exams are conducted under very strict guidance. But the overall course is useful.
Other: This college is more budget-friendly than other colleges and the best thing about my course is it is very interesting and the faculty is very well. There are no extracurricular activities other than college events, sports, and annual fest but these events are very enjoyable.

The SVIMS is very best college in Kolkata at an affordable price.
Placements: 70% students got placed from my course. The highest salary package is INR 290000 and the lowest is 144000 INR. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, filpkart, amazon, mpokket, tcs, etc. 30-40% students got internships. Top role offered is of Business analyst.
Infrastructure: The classroom are well designed and decorated with all facilities like AC, Wi-Fi, digital board and separate libraries and labs. The quality of hostel is too good and the food is hygienic. The rooms are quite big and gardens are there. A playground is attached with the college campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very much friendly. They really help us in many ways from providing notes to giving extra classes. Faculty members are well knowledgeable. Semester are not really tough. If a student follows all the notes provided by the faculty members then it will be very easy to score good marks.
