Admission to TKM College of Engineering is entrance based. The course a candidate chooses to apply to determines the admissions procedure. The minimal requirement for the PG programmes at TKM College of Engineering is in accordance with university regulations. After passing the Class 12 exam, students must receive at least 50% of the possible points for the merit category in a three-year degree programme that includes mathematics, statistics, computer science, computer applications, engineering, and technology as major, secondary, or core subjects. For SEBC and physically handicapped students, the minimum score is 45%. Candidates who are SC/ST must receive a minimum score. Government-specified reservation guidelines are closely adhered to. The Director of the LBS Centre for Science and Technology Thiruvananthapuram, a government body, administers the Centralized Allotment Process for admission to the merit seats.
