However, having a high percentage in your +2 exams (90%) is definitely a positive aspect of your application. Many colleges consider both entrance exam scores and academic performance for admissions. While it might be challenging to secure admission in top-tier colleges with a low KEAM score, there are still many good engineering colleges that offer B.Tech computer Science programs. These colleges often have reasonable fees and provide quality education. Additionally, there are state government colleges that offer engineering programs at a relatively lower cost.

The rank of 36,000 in KEAM 2023 indicates your position relative to other candidates who appeared for the exam. The possibility of getting admission to a college for Computer Science CS with a rank of 36,000 in KEAM depends on factors such as the number of available seats, the cutoff rank set by different colleges, and the preferences of other candidates with higher ranks. Private engineering colleges in Kerala often have management quota seats, which are filled based on different criteria such as merit, entrance exam scores, and other considerations. While it is difficult to predict the exact outcome, you may have a chance of securing admission to a private engineering college for CS based on merit, especially if there are seats available and the cutoff ranks for those colleges are not significantly lower than your rank. To determine your chances of admission, it is recommended to research and consider the previous year's cutoff ranks for CS in various private engineering colleges in Kerala. This will give you an idea of the potential colleges where you may have a chance of getting admission. Additionally, it's important to keep an eye on the official notification and counseling process released by the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical KEAM authorities. The counseling process will provide more clarity on the available seats and specific colleges where you can apply based on your rank. I advise you to regularly check the official website of KEAM and participate in the counseling process to explore your options and increase your chances of getting admission to a college for CS with your KEAM rank of 36,000.
