Many students were placed in foreign companies like Shell in 2015.
Placements: About 80% of students are placed. Companies such as spic and Sunmark are coming for final-year placements.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi in the hostel, but it was available in our first year. Food and rooms are average. The classrooms of the college are also average. The library is good in our block B. The water facilities are very good in both the hostel and the college. The water is purified by Auro.
Faculty: The curriculum of our course is a little hard, but we try to study that. Faculty members are very knowledgeable. Their teaching is good. It is easy to study for an internal and an external exam. In our course, it is very tough to pass semesters 1 to 6. So you must try your best. In our batch, we have wonderful coordination to arrange the IV and some other symposiums.

It is a good campus with culture, faculty and infrastructure but placements were not guaranteed.
Placements: During campus placements, around 10% of students got placed. After a year, about 30-40% of students got placed. The top companies which recruited students from our campus are Sanmar, Anthem Biosciences, and SPIC. Most of my classmates were offered executive engineer positions and some of them were working as EHS executives and R&D scientists. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Most of my classmates had done internships in various companies like Biocon, Anthem Biosciences, MFL, etc.
Infrastructure: The campus has good infrastructure and good Wi-Fi which offers a speed of 10 Mbps. Labs and classrooms are good and equipped. We do have a decent library which has lots of technical books but lacks books of other genres. Extracurriculars are supported by the staff members. We do have a vast ground and almost all games were played. Since sports quota was available. The quality of the players was top-notch. The hostel is neat and Wi-Fi is also available. We had sharing system in the canteen so the quality and quantity of food were guaranteed.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were highly qualified and we had guest lecturers from NIT and other top colleges. The curriculum was relevant and I believe it was better than chemical engineering. Exams were tough to some extent. Some papers were easy and the pass percentage would be somewhere around 70%.
Other: Stability in a chemical engineering career is what made me choose this career. Some industry-oriented training should be provided starting from the 3rd year. Students must be prepared for interviews also. Annual day is the most celebrated week of the year. The campus was calm and the environment was good. We do have a couple of other colleges in the surrounding namely IIM, Trichy, and Bharathidasan University. So off-campus life was vibrant. Scholarships were provided for eligible students.

A memorable and nice place to study.
Placements: There are 60 students in this petrochemical course. For this department, 4 to 5 companies are recruiting. The top company recruiting is Anthem bioscience from Bangalore offering a minimum salary of 50,000. The top role of the college is to tie with other country universities to promote students knowledge and for the development. This college also provides technical knowledge to the students by providing industrial visits.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not awesome but it is good. Wi-Fi is available but not provided for students. The hostel food is good but they provide the same recipes for every week. The coffee provided is the worst. In the hostel the water and other facilities are good. There are 4 hostels for every year of students. The medical clinic is available in this college and works for 6 days per week. This college is one of the best for sports and games but even though they can improve the facilities. There are nearly 20 games in this college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful. Their teaching was really good but we have to put extra time into our studies. This curriculum is good and it surely makes ready the students for working in industries. The semester is somewhat tough. We have to put in hard work to score in the semesters.
Other: This is one of the developing courses for the future. This is the only government university to have this course. They can improve the course by conducting many extra interesting works to make more curious to study for the course. There are many scholarships available in this college. The campus is good even though they can develop the surroundings of the college. There are cultural and sports conducted every year. NCC, NCC AND NSO Are available in this college.

Average infrastructure and facilities and it suits more for the sports persons.
Placements: 1. 80 percentage placement is depending upon the caste. But on an average the person who score 180 above cut off can place in my course.
2. 4 lakhs per annum to 2 lakhs per annum is the salary range offered to our course.
3. Sanmar groups, SPIC, Anthembioscience are top recruiters.
4. Graduate Engineer Trainee and Executive Traine roles were offered.
5. 4LPA to 2 LPA is the salary range offered to our course.
Infrastructure: 1. Because of government college we should not expect the hi-fi infrastructure but while compared to other universities this one is much better and for my department the lab facilities are good and Wi-Fi library availability is there.
2. Hostel facility is there with both veg and non veg menu and in my university they give more importance to sports, canteen is available and medical facilities also available inside the campus.
Faculty: 1. Staffs are most talented and experienced one. Almost most of them are Ph.D. scholar and they are good in teaching also. They also refer students for most of the companies.
2. This course is purely industrial based and the opportunity is quite small now a days.
Other: 1. My uncle referred me to choose this course.
