Satisfaction with library timings, faculty, and department classroom. Laboratories are very good.

Placements: Placement percentage is not standard. It is based on the number of students who have developed their skills regarding specific jobs. Most of the placements are on the software side, placements in the core field of the branch are fewer, as the jobs regarding the core of the branch are not many.

Infrastructure: Classrooms in the department and library are very comfortable, and even the laboratories have the required equipment in each. But as regards hostels, the first-year hostel is very old and it's very comfortable, and the new hostel is constructed as well for the first years, but it has not opened. As for Wi-Fi, those not present, and even if present, they are not working. Medical facilities and sports are very useful, and the facilities are very good.

Faculty: The faculty we are getting are very experienced, and they teach us very well and in an easily understandable way. The curriculum is relevant and in each semester, there is at least one core subject regarding the core of ECE and practical labs, as well as to make us ready for the industry. The semester exams are neither as easy nor as hard, some are moderate, mostly for the students who are regular. The exams are moderate, and for others, they are difficult. The pass percentage is above 85%.

Other: I chose this course based on my personal interest in the design of chips and how technology works, among others. I wish that the Wi-Fi facilities should be improved, and at least one study hall for the hostel, even if only with fans and chairs. Another important thing is the central library timing, it will be closed at 8:00 PM. If it is extended to at least 10:00 PM, it would be very helpful, and it is not open on holidays and Sundays, mainly, this is also an issue that should be solved.

This is the best university in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Placements: 80% of our students from our departments are placed in various companies like Moschip, Capgemini, Infosys, etc. The average package in our course is 9 to 13 LPA. 90 % of our students are getting internships every year. Many roles in the VLSI domain are offered to our students.

Infrastructure: Every department has Wi-Fi facility in our college, but sometimes it does not work properly, our management is working on it. We have one of the best academic libraries with plenty of books across our state. Hostels are average, but the mess food is good, with a menu of non veg three times a week. University premises also have a medical dispensary.

Faculty: Exams are difficult enough to challenge the students on their academic excellence. Faculty members in our department are well qualified and experienced. All the faculty are post graduates and Ph.D. holders. Our curriculum mainly focuses on the root basics of the subject.

Other: A tech fest is held every year when many colleges across the state visit our university for workshops, hackathons, etc. We can also have good communication with other students and faculty members at that time.

I'm dissatisfied with faculty, poor placements in 2025, bad infrastructure, and facilities

Placements: Out of 60 around 25 students have been placed most of them are girls. The campus placements have been very poor this time for us. L&T compared last time took around 25 students but this time they have taken only 2 girls. Packages are also very less. The highest is around 8 LPA from JSW and Reliance offered around 6 LPA least. Recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, etc. The package offered is around 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. For internships around 5 students secured by companies like Apollo Tyres, Galaxy, Coromandel, etc., are some of the companies that students got placed in.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very bad. They have very old equipment which doesn't work properly. Most of the time, labs have been upgraded recently so I can say slightly improving now (computer labs and EDC labs). Classrooms are average. Wi-Fi is practically dead and doesn't work at all. The library has AC and a variety of books and also love the digital library.

Faculty: Faculty most of them are contract-based. The professors we have are very less and they visit the department very often, most of them can't complete the syllabus in time so exams are a bit difficult, and we have to study by ourselves is the best thing better not depending on the faculty. Course curriculum is also dumb if they have a subject in a particular semester they should also have the corresponding lab but no our college is different and has the lab and subject in different semesters.

Other: Can't expect much since this is a government college, fee is only Rs. 10,000 per year so worth it for students who study themselves. The good thing is that at least we have a gym and grounds to play. Events and fests are good we conduct it ourselves and we enjoy it. Faculty and department should be improved and they should also change the syllabus pattern.

About JNTU, Kakinada Campus.

Placements: Companies such as Google, Amazon, and Endava have been visiting for the past five years. They offer placements to the maximum number of students. Google offered the highest package of 67 LPA, last year. Overall, the placement record has been strong over the last five years. Amazon also offering packages to several students.

Infrastructure: Hostels are above average, and new hostels are under construction. Although the old hostels are good, they are not excellent. The food is above average. The mess is run by final-year students. They fix the menu and update it based on discussions with other students. Food festivals are conducted every month.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good and teach excellently. Exams are conducted in a great manner. The question papers are medium to difficult. Semester exam results are released 2 to 3 months after completion. There is no immediate supplementary exam. If a student fails a subject, they have to rewrite it with their juniors the next year.

Other: Fests are very rare, and you cannot expect grand celebrations. If they are conducted, they are usually on a normal range.

Placements: In ECE branch , 70% of students were placed, and most of the students got a rank in GATE and chose M.Tech. We are getting both core companies and software companies. The highest package is 20LPA.

Infrastructure: Every department has its own library, and we have a common library with all facilities. College offers many sports activities, and it provides the best medical facilities. Every classroom is facilitated with e-boards. Every department has labs with good technicians and equipment.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have years of experience.

Other: Due to the best teaching faculty and great opportunities in career I chose this B.Arch in JNTU. Our college offers more clubs with different activities.

Each department has seminar halls for academic events. The hostels are separate for boys and girls, with basic shared rooms and mess facilities offering average South Indian meals. A canteen is available for snacks and fast food. Wi-Fi is accessible in hostels with some limitations. Sports, medical facilities, and cleanliness are adequate. Overall, the campus provides a supportive environment for academics, though food and maintenance could improve.

Faculty: The faculty at UCE Kakinada are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, with a focus on fundamentals. The curriculum is mostly relevant, but needs a minor update for industry trends. Semester exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is around 85-90%.
