Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) process for undergraduate admissions in engineering programs in Delhi, is conducted by the participating institutes themselves. UIET Chandigarh admission to BTech is based on JEE Main score. The inter-se merit of the candidates for BE admission will be determined on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) obtained in JEE Main 2025 only, except in the Sports Category and the Defence Category. After completion of the selection rounds, BE candidates have to participate in JAC Counselling and provide their preferred institute. Aspirants are first required to fill out the application form for the respective exam. The inter-se merit of the candidates for BE admission will be determined on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) obtained in JEE Main followed by JAC Counselling. For lateral entry, PULEET is conducted by the university for admission. UIET selects aspirants for ME/ M.Tech courses based on GATE score.
