It is very good for getting the deep knowledge of the subject.
Placements: There are placements for ME students. But compared to BE, ME has very fewer placements according to all the branches in Vasavi college. BE students will get more opportunities of placements to get a job earlier than M.E students. There are a lot of placements for M.E also, but according to the pay scale, they are not good for M.E students.
Infrastructure: It consists of very good infrastructure compared to all other colleges. All other things like the labs, medical facilities, library, sports and games, and also canteen are available. The prices of the food items are less compared to the bakeries outside. They are providing good quality of food at a price. But, the college is constructed in clumsy form. There are no hostel facilities in the college.
Faculty: There are good faculty with the experience of 10+ years in the teaching field, and some of them are from IIT's. The course curriculum is good, the students who want to go into core field of jobs, these are the perfect courses which were given by the expert lecturers.
Other: The college timings are very strict, attendance is also considered strictly. No good interaction between students and staff. Being an autonomous college, everyone is showing some dramatic respect to them. There is a lot of dramatic relationship between students and staff.

The college offers a bundle of information and a pinch of knowledge. Placed, but lost in life.
Placements: The placements of Vasavi college are its biggest asset. The college ensures that almost 85-90% of students are being placed. The companies giving good packages usually cater to the CSE & IT departments with companies like PEGA Systems - 8 lakhs, Oracle - 7.5 lakhs, Acolyte - 10 lakhs and PEGA drive taking bulk recruitments with 4.5 lakh packages. The EEE and ECE are given a chance with eligibility for Deloitte - 6 lakhs package ( for which the CSE and IT are also eligible) and hardly a core company. The Mechanical and Civil branches are eligible to the final set of bulk recruitment of Accenture, Infosys and Cognizant with packages of 3.5, 3.2, 3.4 lakhs respectively.
Infrastructure: The college has decent classrooms and a good canteen with edible food. The food is completely vegetarian but non-veg is right outside the college in 3 fast food centers. The medical facilities are just fine and there is no Wi-Fi as of now. The college doesn't provide a hostel facility but the hostels are available 3 km away in langer house. The hostels in langer house are just below the standards of an average living atmosphere. The college has all the lab equipment but most of them are too old to be used in today's times. The college flaunts a great infrastructure superficially but doesn't depend on it for education. The buildings and college ambiance is good. The library has ample books but only related to the engineering, CAT, and GRE (the latter two having only magazines).
Faculty: Vasavi college has well-qualified faculty but fails to enrich the educational spirit of a student, thereby proving to be a burden on the student's head. Most of the faculty are pleasant and welcoming at the time of admissions but prove to be dominant and disrespectful in due course of time. With the biggest drawback of Vasavi being its faculty and the head of a few departments, the college fails to create an atmosphere of passionate learning but rather gives a vibe of penalized parrot fashioned training creating the worst environments to cope up with. PS : The college also has a very few good faculty with lots of zeal to teach but go unnoticed in the ocean of a hypocritic and unreasonable faculty.
Other: Few advantages of joining the college are 1. You would get a good placement. 2. The student environment is very good (with people suffering with you as much as you are, makes good friendship). 3. The food, the hostels, the surroundings are fine and some good company can make it a very lively experience. 4. The college focuses and helps in communication development with extra caution. (most helpful feature) Disadvantages 1. There is a 99% chance you will not learn anything academically applicable as the college focuses only on aggregate and attendance. 2. The transport of the college proves to be a big dud failing to provide ample buses for the seniors. (freshers are well facilitated) 3. As mentioned clearly above, the faculty is the biggest drawback of the college. 4. The administrative department is not student friendly (at all) and curbs on the cultural and technical fests.
