The best college in Maharashtra.
Placements: Our college is known for its placement in Maharashtra. We have a huge alumni network; they give referrals to our organization. But I feel one missing thing is that core companies visit in a smaller number. If you are from any branch, at the end of the day, all are placed in IT companies. I placed it in Cognizant. Many companies, including Cognizant, Atos, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, and TCS, participate in campus drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but it could be better maintained. It needs major improvement. Our annual fest is Technovanza, in which indoor and outdoor sports competitions and DJ nights are all arranged. The library is open until 8 p.m., and they have all curriculum books. I recommend staying in hostels, which are very expensive in Mumbai. Hostel food is decent; non-vegetarian food is also available.
Faculty: We have one of the best faculty members; they have a lot of knowledge about industry, but because of their passion, they became teachers. In our final year, we have to make one project and presentation happen in front of teachers. On the basis of that, internal marks are given. The course covers all casting, molding, and rolling production techniques. Exams are easy if we are regular and study throughout the year.
Other: Infrastructure needs development; the building has become too old. I once visited diploma classrooms; they are like caves.

Really good college with lot of potential.
Placements: Only one student out of seventeen was placed in campus placement. Although others got offers on their own. Average package offered is 3 lacs. Top recruiting firms are production based and supply chain management based. Almost everyone can get an internship if they are willing to. Sometimes it may take a few weeks.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very old, so it's crumbling. Although repair works are in full swing. Labs are very well-equipped and also the classrooms are being upgraded. There is no hostel facility for post-graduate students. So we also do not get mess facility. Girls may receive mess facility but not boys. Canteen is really good.
Faculty: Teachers are very qualified and knowledgeable. But only a few show helping nature. Teaching quality is very poor. They should focus more on practicals and industrial visits. Course curriculum is updated and it should make students industry ready if proper attention is given to practicals.
Other: The course is very good from learning point of view but is slowly getting obsolete as computers are taking over production related activities. Course should teach more production related software. Campus and crowd is great and motivated. It hosts very awesome events.

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai.
Placements: We are trying to get placed the students from the college, and we are achieving this by 50 percentage. Companies like Siemens, FIAT, Volkswagon, Cummins, JSW, Larsen, and Toubro are coming for placements. Students are getting internships in this companies also. All faculty members have a good reputation and contacts in industrial which would be helpful in getting industrial exposure by internship and communication with personnel.
Infrastructure: The college has the fantastic infrastructure. The college has a big central library and pleasant atmosphere for students. Classes are regularly conducted in the college. Laboratories are fine and have sufficient tools, machines, software in computers are available in the college. We also have well-maintained laboratories.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are well experienced and supportive. They help us in every field and get the company which is an ultimate goal of every student. The course content and course curriculum of the college is the finest ever. Students are getting enough knowledge which could survive him or her in the competitive world.
