3. The entrance exam for Maharashtra State, M.Tech admission is called ME-CET, or the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. The VJTI accepts scores.
4. JEE Mains/Advanced: Candidates with exceptionally strong B.Tech academic records may have their JEE scores taken into consideration by VJTI.

ICT Mumbai focuses on chemical Science and technology, whereas VJTI Mumbai is primarily an engineering and technology institute.VJTI Mumbai is a better option for M.Tech in core engineering fields like computer science, information technology, electronics, etc. These streams are not available at ICT Mumbai.ICT Mumbai is more reputable for specializations in the chemical, biochemical, and pharmaceutical sciences. There are no M.Tech programs in these fields at VJTI.Due to the strong demand for engineers, VJTI Mumbai slightly outperforms other institutions in terms of placements and average salaries. However, ICT Mumbai also draws quality employers.Whereas the course curriculum at VJTI Mumbai combines theory and practical application, that at ICT Mumbai is more research-focused.
According to rankings, VJTI is ranked higher among engineering colleges, while ICT Mumbai is ranked higher among chemical and pharmaceutical institutes.So, definitely VJTI is better.

The selection of the students for the MTech courses is based on the GATE entrance exams, and the students must have qualified graduation degree with a minimum of 50%.

If you belong to the General AI category, then it is not possible to get admission at 90 percentile in MHT CET. In the last round, the closing percentile among the General Home State category candidates varied between 95.51 and 99.85. However, if you belong to the OBC HS category, then it is possible to get admisison in a few specialisations including B.Tech. in Textile Technology.

There is no such provision of direct admission in any of the courses or specialisation of VJTI. There are different entrance exams conducted by the Government of Maharashtra whose scores/ rank is necessary for interested candidates for getting enrolled in VJTI, Mumbai. 1.    For admission to BTech, students need to take MHT-CET which is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Maharashtra Government.
