
XET 2025 Pattern - The Xavier Institute of Communications (XIC) prescribes the Xavier's Entrance Test pattern. According to the XIC Entrance Test 2025 pattern, the test will be a computer-based, online test that examinees can take from their homes or internet cafes. There will be both objective and subjective type questions in the XET 2025 paper. The language medium of XET 2025 will be English. As per the new XET pattern published on the institute's website, the test will be an hour long. Examinees will get 30 minutes to attempt each section. Both the sections will carry 50 marks each. The objective-type questions will be based on Language Skills, General Knowledge and Knowledge of Media, and Logical and Analytical Skills. The questions in the subjective section will be media-related and designed to test students on their social values, creativity, writing skills, etc. The password and login details for the test will be sent to examinees 10 minutes before the predetermined test timings. Yes. Based on a candidate's score in the online test, they will be called for the interviews. The interview will be conducted via a Zoom call. Details about the call will be sent to them on their registered email IDs. Questions in the interview will be based on general knowledge, personal academic histories, Statement of Purpose (SOP) submitted with the application form, etc.
No, aspirants can only take XET 2025 in English. All the questions will be asked in English and must strictly be answered in English only. The exam body also mentions on its website that examinees must not use any slang, informal short forms or SMS language while answering their questions. Such answers will not be assessed at all.

The registration dates for XET 2025 are March 1 to 31, 2025. Aspirants can apply online on the institute's website. The XET 2025 application form will cost them INR 2500 (inclusive of GST). Application fee payment can be made thrugh credit cards, debit cards, net banking or UPI. It is advised that the aspirants first check the eligibility requirements before applying. Undergraduate degree holders who are 35 years of age or younger are eligible.
XIC Entrance Test (XET) 2025 will be conducted on April 5, 6 and 13, 2025. Candidates can appear for the XET from wherever they are located (from home or an internet cafe). Candidates will have to select their preferred XET date (out of the dates announced on the website) at the time of registration. The test link, password and login details will be sent to candidates just before their allocated time slot. More exam day instructions will be communicated to the applicants via this email by the exam body.
A final list of selected students and XET 2025 results will be announced on May 5, 2025, by 4:00 pm on the official website - xaviercomm.org. Shortlisted candidates must pay their course's tuition fee by May 19, 2025 online on the same website. More information about the tuition fee payment will be available on the website only.
Candidates will receive the admit card via email at least a week before the exam date. They are advised to check their inbox along with their spam or junk mail so that they do not miss out on the admit card.
