Yes, XLRI Jamshedpur accepts XAT scores for admission to PGDM programmes. Candidates can also apply with a valid socre in GMAT/ GRE for PGDM GM programme. Those who score equal or above XAT cutoff is selected for further rounds. Selected candidates are further called for group discussion and/ or personal interview.
No, you do not have to apply separately for XLRI. XAT 2026 application include a field where you can select the XLRI course for which you want to apply for. Do select the course option carefully as the admission will be provided according to the submitted choice.
Candidates who have completed BE/BTech degree or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% (50% for SC/ST candidates) obtained after completing higher secondary education can apply for FPM. Candidates are also required to pass Class 12 or any equivalent examinations. Two years of relevant work experience is also compulsory for admission to the FPM course at XLRI.
Candidates do not require passing or appearing for an entrance exam for admission to Executive Diploma in Human Resource Management. The selection for this course is based on their merit and performance in the interview round. Besides, candidates must also have passed a bachelor's degree of a minimum of 3 years in any discipline and a 5 years of work experience for admission in this course.
Candidates should have passed MBA/ PGDM or equivalent or GMP/ PGPX or one year full-time residential programme in Management with at least 60% marks to apply for FPM programme at XLRI Jamshedpur. Additionally, candidates must also be employed in a full-time job. Aspirants should also have at least 5 years of full-time executive/ managerial/ teaching/ research experience.
