National Institute of Fashion Technology isn't for everyone.
Placements: A lot of MNCs come to the college every year, and many students get placed, but it's a hard competition. The highest package is 16 LPA to 18 LPA, while the average is 7 LPA to 8 LPA. Companies like Aditya Birla, L&T, etc., hire students. Internships depend on your skills. I have seen people working as interns in H&M as well as unemployed.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good, with stone walls and AC labs. There are two divisions of the college, new and old. The new one has better classrooms, while the old one needs a bit of refurbishing. The canteen and water supply aren't great, and there's only a girls' hostel, no boys' hostel available.
Faculty: Teachers here are highly qualified and smart, and they have worked in the industry for many years. Some departments, like Fashion Design, are strict, as whatever you study at NIFT is useful if you know how to harness it. The jury depends on how much time you’ve put in and how early you start.
Other: I choose this course out of passion, and I am happy with it. I feel that if the college improves its attendance policy, it would be heaven. Fests and communities here at NIFT are top-tier.

Proud of my decision of choosing to come here.
Placements: Usually, all the students get placed. Either through college placements, faculty's help, or through connections/college exposure.
The highest package is 60k p/m and the lowest package is 20k p/m.
Fashion designer, analyst, stylist, and forecaster are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Provides Wi-Fi, labs, smart classrooms, 3D printers, the highest technologies, library, hostels for girls only, play areas, etc. The faculty members also stay here till 7 p.m., so it’s usually good for asking doubts and seeking help.
Quality and cleanliness are really good here.
Faculty: Extremely experienced teachers with great helpful connections that help in the future a lot. Exams are actually easy, but the competition makes it hard since comparatively marking works here. Pressure is what makes the exam difficult. Passing mark is usually above 40% on all subjects.
Other: Exposure and learning from the most experienced.

Best fashion designing college in the country.
Placements: I am a student of the fashion designing department. From day one, our college trains the students, so as to help them grab good job opportunities at the prestigious companies. Different top brands and fashion houses visit our campus during the placement drive. Majority of our last batch got recruited with a maximum salary of 5 lacs.
Infrastructure: My college NIFT, Delhi offers excellent learning opportunities to the students, which is why they have superb infrastructure. The campus is large, clean surrounded by greenery. It is Wi-Fi enabled. Also the classrooms have smart technological facilities. Also our resource centre has high teach machines and tools to facilitate our learning.
Faculty: NIFT Delhi has some of India's most erudite teaching professionals working with them. Our teachers are our friends, who hold our hands and help us learn. They ignite the passion in us to work hard for fulfilling our dreams. Also, the curriculum includes the practical aspects of the subject, which is industry visit, regular workshops, training sessions etc.

It is absolutely satisfied because of the faculty, good placements, and really good infrastructure.
Placements: Ninety-six percent of students were placed in our course. The top recruiting companies for our course are Aditya Birla, Titan, and Myntra. The top roles offered in our course are fashion design. The highest package offered in our course is 14 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA. Ninety-three percent of students got internships from our course, including Boast, Nike, and Myntra.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course/department, like Wi-Fi, are available. Classrooms are well-maintained, and the library has a well-stocked book collection. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is excellent, well-maintained for both boys and girls. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good and acceptable, maintaining proper hygiene. Medical facilities are open 24*7, and sports and games like cricket, football, and badminton are available.
Faculty: NIFT Delhi teachers and other teaching faculty members are excellent, helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable individuals. The teaching quality is excellent. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant and makes the students industry-ready for job opportunities. The semester exams in our college are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 94 percent.
Other: I chose this course because I have a strong passion for and love for fashion design. The best thing about our course is that they provide opportunities for higher study outside India. The thing I wish would be better/improved about our course is some lab rooms. NIFT Delhi organizes various events, fests, and the campus is always crowded. Additionally, participating in other connectivity's, the campus surrounding is a green garden. Our college also provides merit-based scholarships, extracurricular activities like chess games, and opportunities to participate in social work.

Best college for designing.
Placements: In our college, the placement cell is very good. They provide us very good placement. In this course, almost every student got the highest package of 14u201315 LPA. And the average is 6 LPA. Recruiting companies are zara, reliance, h&m etc. Almost every student got internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. We are provided every essential thing that is important. Almost every facility is available at our college. Canteen, mess, food court, Wi-Fi, high-teach classrooms, and a big library. The speed of the Wi-Fi is really good. Medical facilities are available.
Faculty: The faculty members are very good at knowledge and behaviour. Their teaching quality is very good. Their behaviour is so friendly. Course curriculum is very good and well managed. They also arranged many workshops, events, etc. The semester exams are medium level tough.

Really great college for fashion designing.
Placements: In our college, every student gets the chance to placed in a very good company. Top companies are zara, reliance, myntra etc. The highest package for this college is almost 15 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. Roles offered likes designer, fashion director, etc. Almost every student got internships during the internship programme.
Infrastructure: They provide us a very good infrastructure. We got every essential facilities like Wi-Fi, canteen, mess, food court, etc. The speed of the Wi-Fi is very good. Food in the canteen is very good in taste and also low in price. Classrooms are highly decorated in many items and the labs are well designed.

- Entrance TestEligible candidates need to appear for the written test that is Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by the college.
- Situation TestShortlisted candidates will be called for situation test based on the score obtained in CAT and GAT.
- CounsellingAdmission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in CAT/ GAT or situation test score and performance in group discussion/ personal interview. Selection parameters and weightages: CAT: 50% GAT: 30% Situation Test: 20% For candidates belonging to Foreign Nationals / SAARC / NRI category, admission is on the basis of SAT score. In case seats remain vacant for NRI category, students belonging to “Children/Wards of NRI” category with valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) can apply by giving a special NRI Test.

Yes, NIFT Delhi offers abroad placements. NIFT has a dedicated placement cell that helps students in finding internship and job opportunities with leading fashion and design companies. NIFT also offers semester exchange program abroad and has partnership with about 22 international fashion institute
