Our college provides a good environment.
Placements: 86 percent of students are placed in our course. The highest salary offered is 7LPA, with an average salary package of 5.8LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 3LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, LCT Ltd, Arvind Ltd, and Textile Ltd. Our college ensures all students get internships. Top roles offered in our course include textile designer, supply planner, textile quality engineer, and textile production manager.
Infrastructure: Classrooms: Well-maintained and spacious classrooms equipped with projectors and comfortable seating positions. Some classrooms might have smart boards, but this aspect can vary. Labs: Our labs are excellent. Library: Our college provides a library with a vast collection of books. Wi-Fi: Our college has a high-speed internet connection. Other facilities: Our college provides multiple facilities like hostels, food canteen, GYM & sports, etc.

Everything is good in our college.
Placements: Sixty-five percent of students from our college have been placed in companies. The highest package is 3-4 LPA, and the lowest package is 2 LPA. Many students have started their businesses, and many are preparing for higher education. Our college offers internship programs for students.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and the library are well-decorated and cleaned every day. Hostels have Wi-Fi connectivity, and the library is well-equipped. Hostel facilities and medical facilities are good. Food canteen and mess are available. Our college organizes sports and games activities every year.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. They prepare us for exams and interviews. Their teaching quality is very good and knowledgeable. The semester exams are very challenging, but our teachers give their helpful suggestions. Ninety percent of students passed in this course.

Other eligibility criteria
Candidates must be passed Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five ubjects.
Candidates must have 3 or 4-years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of technical Education.
Candidates should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for candidates of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Person with Disability (PWD) categories.

- Entrance TestEligible candidates need to appear for the written test that is Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by the college.
- Situation TestShortlisted candidates will be called for situation test based on the score obtained in CAT and GAT.
- CounsellingAdmission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in CAT/ GAT or Situation test score and performance in Group Discussion/ Personal Interview. Selection parameters and weightages: CAT: 50% GAT: 30% Situation Test: 20% For candidates belonging to Foreign Nationals / SAARC / NRI category, admission is on the basis of SAT score. In case seats remain vacant for NRI category, students belonging to “Children/Wards of NRI” category with valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) can apply by giving a special NRI Test.

You can give the entrance exam, and if it doesn’t work out you can take a year off and try again.

The timings of the classes are 9 AM to 5:30 PM. It may change based on your weekly schedule.
There's nothing like a learn and earn scheme but you can always work as a freelancer to earn enough money to make your ends meet.

The first year at NIFT is the foundation year in which you spend around Rs 1,000 each month on stationary and other materials. In the second year you go to your respective departments (example: fashion design, accessory design, fashion communication) and the expenditure varies from course to course.
