Digital India is the new India

A country will develop when the youth is ready to develop. The development of a country depends on how well the youth contributes towards the society.

Empowering the national economy is not just the initiative derived by the government, but also a responsibility of every citizen to cooperate and follow the vision of the government.

When we talk about National Development, it always counts the individual’s development too. We should be proud to be a part of our nation, who always prioritizes individual growth with economic growth. The developed countries always appreciate and introduce new technologies in human societies to secure and speed up the day to day life.

The investment and infrastructure are created by the government for the betterment of all citizens. The Government of India got inspired by this thought and floated the scheme of Digital India. It is considered to be a great step towards knowledge powered digitized economy. Every sector and discipline are equally responsible for the economic growth.

E-Governance is an essential part of our dream of Digital India, the more technology we infuse in governance; the better it is for India - Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble PM of India

The young graduates are considered to be the future of any country. Their dedication and handwork determine the growth rate of development. Our PM believes in young generation who can contribute maximum in his dream of digital India. The students graduating from the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering and other streams can find great job opportunities. Many useful schemes like e-education, e-health, e-locker, e-sign, and national scholarship portal have been introduced, so that the citizens of India can avail the facility of digital transactions.

E-education has become very popular these days. It gives a common platform for teachers as well as for students from any part of the world. Anyone can share their knowledge using this medium which indeed encourages the quality of our education system.

Similarly, in the medical field, doctors from overseas can give their consultation without giving a physical visit. They can see the patient’s report and share their diagnosis accordingly. It gives great help to poor people who are not able to go abroad for better treatment.

By introducing these schemes, the government actually encourages the spirit of technical education. According to the statistics, around 1.7 Cr. people are trained in Information Technology stream. Around 1.7 Cr. Direct and at-least 8.4 Cr. indirect jobs are generated in Electronics & Telecom Sector. Around 2.5 Lakh schools and Universities are converted into Wi-Fi campuses, through which the students can connect with the world. The vision of digitizing India gives immense job opportunities to the public.

Digital India is more for the poor and unprivileged. It aims to bridge the gap between the digital haves and have nots by using technology for citizens. - Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Minister of Law & Justice, Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India

One more important aspect of Digital India is to decrease the cyber-crime and interference of the third party in financial transactions. The concept of a bribe can also be reduced to a great extent. The transactions have become safer and secured between any two parties. This has encouraged the villagers to keep their money in banks and use digital transaction methods, which was not being practiced before.

The documentation process has reduced to a greater extent, now every document is attached and filled online. This concept has reduced the paper wastage, which also motivates us for Clean India- Green India. Many Educational Institutes are inspired by this great initiative and motivate their students to participate maximum in government initiatives. The Engineering students will be able to drive this project with their technical skills and problem-solving capability.

The communication sector is rising day by day. There are a number of job opportunities from the Government of India for the students graduating from The Electronics & Communication Stream of Engineering.

New Era of Technical Education:

The new era of education is based on experiential learning and project-based approach which improves the practical learning of the student. They excel in both hardware as well as software fields. The real world comprises of many challenges where the theoretical knowledge does not stand fruitful. In that case, the students have to use their experiences which they learn during their graduation in laboratories and industrial interaction.

However, these days the curriculum of technical education is designed in such a way where the students can get maximum industrial exposure and practical knowledge of the subject so that he/ she can easily get compatible to the corporate world. This approach of education is adopted by so many renowned educational institutions and schools to upgrade the practical knowledge of the students. The students showcase their technical skills in projects and can compete with other institutions, which enhances their competitive spirit. Also, practical knowledge helps them get good external exposure.
